1972 Presidential candidate George McGovern will speaking plus signing
his book The Essential America: Our Founders and the Liberal Tradition
(Simon & Schuster) plus promoting the documentary chronicling his
campaign, ONE BRIGHT SHINING MOMENT: The Forgotten Summer of George
McGovern, which opens on 5/17. Scenes from the documentary will be
shown. McGovern will be introduced by author Amy Goodman.
