And the SCUS has declined to hear Moore's appeal. Incidentilly, seven of
the eight Georgia Supreme Court Justices are Republican. The vote against
Moore was unanimous. And Pryor has filed notice that the monument will be
moved, since state taxpayers "should not be punished for the refusal of the
chief justice to follow a federal court order.''
My question is: why is Moore not responsible for the fines himself? If it
came out of his own pocket, maybe he wouldn't be so gung-ho about violating
the law to force his religion down others' throats.
