Object: German TV personality fired for praising Nazi family policy
It's a shame that in this day and age, people still can't discuss the
positive things that occurred during those dark times for the German
people.

German TV personality fired for praising Nazi family policy
BERLIN (AP) - Germany's NDR public broadcaster fired a talk show host
and author on women's issues after she praised Nazi Germany's attitude
toward motherhood, the station said Sunday.
NDR said Herman, who has written books urging a return to more
traditional gender roles, was fired after confirming to station
management that she made the statement reported in the Bild am Sonntag
newspaper on Sunday.
The statement was: "What I wanted to express was that values which
also existed before the Third Reich, such as family, children and
motherhood, which were supported in the Third Reich, were subsequently
done away with by the 68ers" - a reference to 1960s leftists.
Other news reports had quoted her as saying at the presentation of her
latest book that, while there was "much that was very bad, for example
Adolf Hitler," there were good things, "for example the high regard
for the mother" under the Nazis.
NDR program director Volker Herres said in a statement that "Mrs.
Herman's authorial activities are in our view no longer compatible
with her role as a television moderator and talk show host."

You, fuckface, have no idea what went on back then. We Germans of today
still suffer both physically (dud bombs are still being found and defused
in our cities... although every now and then one goes off after all those
decades and kills a person or a few dozen) and socially (still having to
catch the flak for the moustached madman's insanity, no matter if you were
born decades after the end of the reich).
Come over here, fuckface, and dare to say your ***** straight in our

The thought of Jon giving a Hitler salute in some German city is
hilarious. I have no idea how your prisons run, though. Surely not
as bad as, say, Turkish prisons? I mean, you do feed your prisoners,
right?

Starving prisoners can't work *eg*

Is THAT why everything is so neat and clean over there? I've only
spent time in Schwaben, but it's some beautiful countryside. Cities,
villages, farms - all nice looking. (Except for the cathedral in Ulm
when I was there - it was under repair.)

Heh, I don't know for what work exactly German prisoners might be put to
task currently, but I wouldn't rule out the possibility that some might
clean the cities. Under guard of course.
Although <cynism> now we got our very own new slave caste for such tasks,
the civil rights of which are kicked into the mud by the government every
single fucking day. I wouldn't be surprised to hear that our prisoners,
sadly, have _more_ civil rights than those who had the misfortune to have
to sustain themselves through the infamous "Hartz IV" unemployment
"benefits". Ain't life beautiful when you can't move around as you like,
have to let your rooms be inspected without warning, have to take any work
assigned to you... all for the "crime" of not being wanted by any employer
around? </cynism>
I wonder when the poor fellows will be officially clapped in iron. And how
long it'll be from then on until someone remembers the legend of Spartacus.

If you want money, you have to obey certain rules that the guy signing
the checks makes. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. But then, I've
never tried to steal money from the government.

Basically yes... but there's a difference between having to obey certain
rules and being treated like property.
The latter becomes more and more standard over here for those poor folks.
Combine this with the (sadly successful) witch-hunt climate that has been
cultivated over here. After years of trying to battle unemployment quotas
without any success, suddenly the then-government started harping (and all
media et cetera embraced and nurtured it!) about all unemployed being just
too fucking lazy to go and find work. Can you say scapegoat?
Granted that some few of them probably are simply lazy - but it has become
all but officially accepted to presuppose that this goes for them all. The
whole Hartz IV system is basically mostly an attempt to _punish_ those who
lost their jobs for their fate.
Yup, shrubbenführer ain't the only one who loves to place the blame for own
mistakes on those who don't have (much of) a lobby.

There's a company here that prohibits its employees from smoking. Not
just in the workplace - at all. If it's discovered that you smoked,
you're fired. It's part of the employment agreement you sign. And
the courts have ruled it legal.

You mean they're on the American plan? Here, if you don't actively
seek employment, you're not even counted among the unemployed, let
alone given any money.

Granted that some few of them probably are simply lazy - but it has become
all but officially accepted to presuppose that this goes for them all. The
whole Hartz IV system is basically mostly an attempt to _punish_ those who
lost their jobs for their fate.

That's the way it's been here since I started working, and that was in
the late 50s.

Yup, shrubbenführer ain't the only one who loves to place the blame for own
mistakes on those who don't have (much of) a lobby.

It's not only the Chimp who does it here - it's been done since
Eisenhower that I'm sure of, and probably since Roosevelt.

Pils "grows" slower than Pilz. But Hallertauer is worth waiting for.

Isn't that a variety of hop?
And isn't Pils short for Pilsener? Because that kind of beer
originated in Czechoslovakia?

*A* variety of hop? Is Bush just *A* moron? It's one of THE two
varieties that are REALLY worth drinking. Saaz is the other one. (Not
for ales, though, just for lagers.)

And isn't Pils short for Pilsener? Because that kind of beer

I think that's the derivation.

It's a shame that in this day and age, people still can't discuss the
positive things that occurred during those dark times for the German
people.

<flush J/IBen's Nazi troll>
Yes, it's well known what a big supporter of free speech you are.
At least when it suits your agenda:
"I used to like to frequent alt.flame.niggers and alt.white.power. But
Google dropped them because they saw them as racist. The left will say it's
hate-speech and should not be protected under the Constitution. I'll
say it's truth-speech, and that they should put people like them in
concentration camps."

Harbour?McCarthysm? 9 / 11?
BTW, why are you so obsessed with morality when it comes to sexuality,
television, Japan's actions during the warbut soooo tolerant when
dealing with national-socialism?
Could it be that you're... a nazi turd and a hypocrite *****?

WHAT positive things? Life for the ordinary, normal Germans sucked
under the Nazis. Read a history book.
Birth control was illegal in Nazi Germany. Single men and women were
hit with heavy taxes because they dared to decline marriage.
Why did the Nazis have such policies? Because they loved children and
families? Hell, no. They foresaw a need for more young men to use as
cannon fodder.
And I haven't even discussed the total lack of freedom the Germans
suffered. Disagree with the Nazi regime, and they'd throw you in a
concentration camp.
I have met older Germans who lived under the Nazis. They had nothing
positive to say about Nazis. One was very angry that Hitler was not
even a German. They saw him and the Nazis as destroyers of their
country.

That's the only attitude I ever got from people who lived through it
any time I was in Germany. From those who would talk about it - most
would rather spit when you mention Hitler. the only Germans who
really prospered during the Third Reich are dead or South Americans.

You mean their greatest disappointment that they didn't get Aryan
world?
I'll bet you down-home anti-semite racists are disappointed, too.

The statement was: "What I wanted to express was that values which

also existed before the Third Reich, such as family, children and
motherhood, which were supported in the Third Reich, were subsequently
done away with by the 68ers" - a reference to 1960s leftists.

Herman is the typical feminist ***** who is now spouting that women
want the good old days - where women stayed home and men did all the
work. All a woman had to do was ***** once, and she was looked after
for life. This is what feminists are now after. Men must beware!
All women should be in jail.
