Glad to see the Catholics haven't changed |
There is an article in my local paper this morning about how the
Vatican is being accused of shielding "one of the most wanted war
criminals in the Balkans." He is General Ante Gotivna and he is
"accused of overseeing and permitting the killing of at least 150 Serb
civilians and the forced deportation of between 150,000 and 200,000
others after Operation Storm, a 1995 offensive to reimpose Croatian
control over the Krajna region." He is apparently hiding in a
Franciscan monastery (Catholic) and the Vatican refuses totally to
co-operate with the accusers (Carla del Ponte, former United Nations
chief prosecuter for Yugoslavia). Charming.

It's a wonder they bother. Don't they have some _pedophiles_ they
should be juggling, or some such?
