Object: Global Thought Day
I need input and help. My idea is to have one moment when everyone
around the world thinks/feels the same thing. I selected August 16th.
The time will depend upon where in the world you live. I put a
timetable at www.globalthoughtday.com. If this actually happens, I
wonder if the thought/feeling that I'm suggesting is worthy of the
concept. What do you think? Thank you. GTD816

Thank you. I know half the world will be sleeping. The time table at
the web site has all time zones around the world listed. I'm working
on translating the site into other languages. www.globalthoughtday.com
This will be an annual event, and I think people will set their clock
to wake up at 2 am or whatever time to participate. The bigger
question asked is, Why? What do I think will happen if millions of
people all think/feel the same thing at the same time? Could be a
great moment. We won't know until it is tried. GTD816

I know that it will not be a great moment well before it ever gets
tried.
If it ever gets to happen, it will only be a lasting monument to
imbecilicic unscientific unrealistic wooly wishful-thinking.
It will be a shameful time for the human race, and an indication to
the participiants of such feckless stupidity, that they should all go
to Jonestown and drink Kool-aid.

Just as well it'd be on August 16 - our official anniversary (this year is the
16th) is five days earlier, so we'd be thinking more about each other that
day...

One prob. Half of the world will be asleep.

Yeah, he didn't think that bit through so well, did he...

Especially since it negates "the thought," whatever the
***** "the thought" is precisely. Might as well shitcan
the whole idea before it gets started, rent some prorn
and a six pack.

Rent a six-pack? No problem, just recycle the beer, refill, and return
for the next customer..... ;)

If he's talking about Yankee beer, then that is pretty close to the
mark.

Yep. 'Bear Whizz Beer®' brewed naturally.
There's actually a t-shirt that says that.

I've had one of those for the last decade and a half..."It's in the water!"

The thought is: "I'm happy to be alive and I share my joy with
everyone around the world." I have it on the web site
(www.globalthoughtday.com) in a couple languages. I'm adding more.
Since it'll be global, and the words won't be the same everywhere, it
will be more of a shared feeling. There's a time chart on the web site
that - depending upon where in the world you live - indicates what the
"thought" time is. I believe this is scientific in its approach and
worthy of a try. Thank you.

Not you again?
Why don't you answer my simple question?
If you have forgotten what it is, I repeat it here:
Why?

The time will depend upon where in the world you live. I put a
timetable at www.globalthoughtday.com. If this actually happens, I
wonder if the thought/feeling that I'm suggesting is worthy of the
concept. What do you think? Thank you. GTD816

I think you need to rethink this thought!

What do you think will happen if everyone thinks this thought at the
same time? And while we're at it, I think it would be great if we could
all jump up at the same time...maybe we could cause the Earth to wobble
on it's axis. I'm game.
