I read this and I see misery on both sides. Atheist's so miserable with
themselves and those whom they cannot tempt. I also see the opposite,
those so filled with the spirit that they become like an annoying
tele-marketer on a bad night, pushing souls away.

But you don't see atheists so happy they can't stop humping the legs of
everyone nearby, or theists so full of hate for themselves they can't stop
taking it out on others, eh?
Which makes you a god-botherer.
I see both sides full of people so fucking stupid they think it matters.

Oh well, not everyone's an optimist.

An optimist sees the glass as half full.
A pessimist sees the glass as half empty.
An engineer sees the glass as being twice as large as is needed.
A safety-freak sees the glass and says, "If that were to fall to the
ground, it'll shatter and put someone's eye out. Make it plastic."
A theiest sees the glass as being filled by God.
An atheist sees the glass and says, "Oooh! Beer!"

You seem to be missing the point. Atheism is a 'defensive' position. (We
tell
the world why we don't believe in imaginary deities and pretty much leave it
at that.) The religionists are the 'offensive' minded lot. We atheists may
be a
minority, and feel discriminated at times, but we know we *are* right and
feel
*happy* we somehow managed to snap out of the brainwashed state of mind
that the Church unconscionably put many of us in. And when I say that the
religionists are the ones on the 'offensive,' and not we atheists, I mean
it. They
are, indeed, offensive. We atheists are just holding them off at arm's
length,
that's all. Their religious odor is a bit too much to take at times. They
are like
what one wise man once called, 'an annoying tele-marketer on a bad night

Methinks you need to look up "projection".

Atheist's so miserable with
themselves

Liar.
What causes atheists to be miserable are religionists who can't live
and let live, and liars like you.

themselves and those whom they cannot tempt. I also see the opposite,

Liar.
Nobody is trying to tempt anybody.

Tell them,not us, moron.
And stop lying about atheists, to atheists.

'mouth' meaning sphincter.

Perhaps if the "telemarketer" types would leave us the hell alone, we
wouldn't be so miserable.

Yes, you are one lying, ignorant, and terminally miserable

I see happy and sad folks from both sides of the fence. Regarding
every aethiest in the group, I guarantee they have all said a prayer or
two to Jesus when a loved one was laying on their death-bed. If we
were all so happy with ourselves we wouldn't all be slinging mud or
ending our replies with an insult or making a last ditch effort at
getting in the last word. What a messed up world it is indeed. If we
were all alike, things would be very boring. There would be no music,
no museums, no relationships and no breakups. People who have peace do
not need to reply with such malicious attacks. I believe in Jesus
Christ and I have felt and seen things that could have only been done
by God. Anyone who publicly announces that he does not believe in God
will be told that he is not known by christ on judgement day. If
nothing else, isn't it better to be safe than sorry than to be cast
with 100% certainty into hell's fire?
