God is Always Good - Never Evil! |
For the life of me, I cannot fathom what the fundies who frequent this
newsgroup mean *exactly when they unflinchingly assert that their 'God' is,
'*always* good and never evil.' Are we to accept the vies that the
(fictitious) God of the bible is incapable of possessing evil within his
(fictitious) 'being,', or are we to take the position that when the word
'evil' is used in 'Scripture', is actually means 'good' -- but not in any
ultimate sense. What in the hell are you fundies talking about when you
insist that God is incapable of possessing 'evil' when your own bible
clearly indicates that he actually (and willfully) 'created' it. I'm a bit
confused. Help me out here. (Should we throw the word 'evil' from out of our
dictionaries because it is a meaningless term, as well?)

Beside the verse that plainly states the god created evil, what could be
more evil than damning a beloved family member to hell forever? Even a
child will forgive someone for hurting them. But keep in mind, the
horrific punishment prescribed in the Bible is for the "heinous" crime of
not worshiping the god.
Since there is no god, and there is no jeebus, it is clearly the
Christians who are the evil ones who, in their own minds, send their
enemies to hell forever. And for frivolous crimes too! I was once told
I would burn in hell for getting to a parking place before someone else
did. Wow.
