God loves basketball |
St. John's basketball coach, Mike Jarvis:
"God did not bring me here to fail," Jarvis said. "God didn't put me in the
positions he's put me in all my life to be anything but successful. I
believe in the purpose he has in store for me. Right now, God is testing me.
He is putting me in a position where I'll be better than ever as a result of
all this. "
With all the wars, poverty, starvation, and disease to worry about, God
still has the time to select college basketball coaches.

Did he tell you this personally? Otherwise, how would you know?
"I pray that I may have God as my guide and the power of the Lord as my aid,
since I am unable to find even the bare footsteps of those who have traveled
the way before me ..."
Please see above.
What would I bother? Doesn't have anything to do with me.
"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask

Now you're just being silly.
And you're being moronic by posting this drivel in an atheist newsgroup.

And as this is demonstrably false, Christianity again fails to
correspond with reality.

Figments of your deluded imagination don't do anything.
Although Vince's remark was obviously way over your head.

You know, Mr. Lee, sometimes I think it would be good for you to take some
time to stop and smell the flowers, or maybe have yourself a nice long
relaxation in the Jacuzzi, or perhaps some nice medication or something.

I noticed you snipped your inanity.
You were being deliberately stupid before, and now you're being
deliberately nasty.
You just can't cope with people who don't want your stupidity rammed
down their throats, and like the majority of theists you lie about and
mischaracterise their reaction - which simply escalates the animosity
you started in the first place.
