Object: God questions?
Why do people believe it is necessary to go to church every Wednesday
evening and Sunday morning or face Mecca and pray to Allah five times per
day?
What is the purpose of this worship?
Is there any evidence that these worshippers live any longer or healthier
lives than the non-believers?
If there is an after life and heaven or hell, why doesn't the dead confirm
this and tell us about it's wonders?
Why does God communicate via errant men instead of directly with his flock?

Hypnotic reenforcement of suggested beliefs. IOW's, the longer you
don't practice your faith, the easier it is to not believe it. So the
flock must have the continuous reenforcement of their beliefs.

What is the purpose of this worship?

Arrogant delusions that the universe can not continue with out their
insignificant spark of life. That there is some deity, in the vast
expanse of the universe, that knows and cares about us, and only us out
of the entire universe.
A very arrogant view indeed.

Some, but it is in question as to the validity of the studies that were
done.

If there is an after life and heaven or hell, why doesn't the dead confirm

Cuz the gods won't let them. ;-)
Seriously, there is nothing after death. Death is part of life, and we
are not so special as to keep the universe moving with our lives.

Why does God communicate via errant men instead of directly with his flock?

Because there are no gods, and humans seek power. Power over others,
power over policy. When you say you speak for the gods, soft brained
morons will pay you to keep saying it, and will follow you to ultimate
extremes.
Jonestown
Heaven's Gate
Solar Temple
People for the Restoration of the Ten Commandants
Branch Davidians
Al Qidia(sp)
Hezzbolah(sp)
Faith is easy. Accept what you are told, and don't think or question
it. Let the fat man up front do the thinking for you. After all, he
has a direct line to the gods.

There are none more ignorant and useless,
than they that seek answers on their knees,
with their eyes closed.

Participate in the glory of God.

What is the purpose of this worship?

Participate in the glory of God.

Is there any evidence that these worshippers live any longer or healthier
lives than the non-believers?

The real glory of God is after we die, not before.

If there is an after life and heaven or hell, why doesn't the dead confirm
this and tell us about it's wonders?

They do.

Why does God communicate via errant men instead of directly with his flock?

Only he knows that answer.
