God uses the word "firebrand" (or "fag") to describe sodomites in the Bible |
A "fag" is a firebrand. A "fag" is used for kindling - it fuels fire.
"Fag" is a metaphor used in the Bible, for example, in Amos 4:11
(where it is translated "firebrand" in the KJV). Just as a "fag" fuels
the fires of nature, so does a sodomite fuel the fires of God's
wrath...it is a metaphor chosen by the Holy Ghost to describe a group
of people who BURN in their lust one toward another, and who FUEL
God's wrath.
Seems pretty clear to me that God intended for queers to be branded
"fags" because of their abnormal sexual depravity.

Alas, _Merriam Webster's Collegiate Dictionary_ disagrees with you.
The word "*****" refers to a bundle of sticks, and also a bundle of
wrought iron, in addition to its use as a slur, whereas "fag" never
refers to a bundle of sticks.
The word "fag," when used as a slur, seems to be simply an
abbreviation for the longer word "*****." The definition of "fag"
dating from the year 1780 includes toil and druggery, but also refers
to an English public school boy who acts as a servant to an older
schoolmate. In 1880, "fag" began to be used as slang for cigarettes.
"Fag" started to be used as a derogatory term for gays starting around
1931, with "*****" being used as a derogatory term for gays starting
around 1914.
It seems your claim about the use of some word in the King James
Version of the Bible and the implcation of that useage has a cauality
problem, not to mention a usage problem - comparing "the fires of
God's wrath" to a cigarette, lighted or not, would seem to suggest
a rather effete diety :-)
