"God wanted this to happen." |
But yet, they'll still go to church and give "gawd" money...
http://www.khou.com/news/local/houstonmetro/stories/khou070614_ac_trainax.7a7798.html
From the article:
On the day after an unthinkable tragedy, perspective and reason came from an
unlikely source.
"I can't think of any other reason other than God wanted this to happen,"
said Doug Moyers whose daughter died in a terrible accident in Baytown
Thursday.
Loral Moyers, 12, and three teenage friends were killed when the stolen SUV
they were in slammed into a stalled train.
The 15-year-old driver and another passenger remain hospitalized.
The top of the SUV was ripped off as it went under the train.

God wanted Satan and his eternal burning Hell to happen, so why would
it be hard to accept that he wanted an "insignificant" incident like
this to happen?

Must be the OT god. The NT god would never do that. Or would he?

He said the old law would never pass and told people to sell their clothes
to buy a sword.
But give him a break, we all slip now and then.

I guess He forgot which testament He was operating under.

he has to say this to protect himself from his own conscience. By
putting the blame on god, he can ignore his lack of ability to properly
raise a child. I've been appalled at how little attention has been
given to the fact these kids all snuck out at 3:00 in the morning and
stole a car to race around in. The two survivors even had a history of
stealing cars, and which was referred to as "joy riding" in the paper.
