GOD=G_uv HOW BIG IS IT ??
Some people have questioned the "significance" of a scientific
proof of God (SPoG for short).
Well, I have made an empirical survey of this question in the past
5 years on Usenet.
In 50,000 posts to usenet (all of them replies to other posters)
I have NEVER met a single individual who was not HOSTILE
to the idea of a SPoG. Every one of them, THOUSANDS
OF THEM have been universally, hostile, vicious, heckling,
ridiculing and insulting.
WHY IS THIS?? It came as an utter and total surprise to
me, I can assure you. I think it would come as a surprise
to the average American citizen that such a thing would
occur on the "Internet".
Well, I have DISCOVERED the answer to this conundrum:
They are simply "BAD PEOPLE".... yes, corrupt, unethical,
overprivileged, cowardly, unjust and uncaring people.
Apparently such aggravated people flock to the Internet just
like they flock to "hate radio" you've heard so much about.
But the real shock is THIS: It is a measure of how many
"bad people" there actually are in the world... after all
the Internet is just the tip of the iceberg. For every one
of them there must be a thousand real hard core culprits
out there... right here in this country.... and you can imagine
it must be 10 times worse in many other foreign countries,
especially undemocratic countries. Why the situation is
so bad today, that Americans, representatives of the most
democratic, egalitarian, charitable foreign power in the
world, who sacrificed millions of it's sons and daughters
fighting Hitler and every other tyranny in recent history,
who have given billions in foreign aid..... have to say
they are "Canadians" when visiting foreign countries
because of the 'nondemocratic hate" that is on the rise in
the world.
THESE PEOPLE HATE RELIGION AND THE IDEA
OF "GOD" FROM THE VERY GET GO.......
BECAUSE.... "GOD" MEANS ONE THING TO THEM...
THE APPEARANCE OF DECENCY, JUSTICE AND
LAW AND ORDER...... WHICH THEY DESPISE.
AND THEY HATE THE SPoG FOR THAT REASON.
so, you ask..... how BIG is the SPoG??

grandiose plans to win the Nobel prize, unite all religions and force
everyone to see things as you do? There is one God and George Hammond is his
prophet?

There is a bunch who are smart enought to understand SPoG and have a
vested interest in it being correct.

He's published 7 books, is director of several Institutes,
and an asst. professor at Baylor (2002). Has constant speaking
engagements, is chairman of several symposiums a year and probably
gets more email, mail and telephone calls than a U.S. Senator.
The guy is such a bigshot, and so busy, it is doubtful you could
get his attention even if you flew to Waco Texas in person and rode
up to his office on a horse.... doublessly he wouldn't even be there.
You only get to talk to people like that after you've gained national
attention yourself... who are you kiddin? Whaddau think I'm doing
here?

Not true. Dembski has responded to several issues raised in talk.origins,
specifically naming the posters there.
At any rate you should try the Discovery Institute. They promote the
Intelligent Design theory (a mathematical/biological case for the
existence of God.) They should be interested in your work. At least they
will not have the usual bias against it.

Hey I want to thank you and whoever first brought up Dembski's name
as a potential reviewer of SPoG.
I've actually manged to contact him:

P.S. You'll never guess who I just got an email message
from.... Professor William A. Dembski:

I've known about him for years... he's famous....but somebody
on this thread just suggested I try to get in contact with him.
I sent him a letter and a copy of my paper this morning by
express mail, and sent him an email message that I had sent
it and to expect it in the mail.
I NEVER figured I'd hear from him since:
1. He's a professor
2. He's the head of two Institutes
3. He's got a PhD in Mathematics, and Philosophy,
plus a B.S. in Psychology and an M.S. in Statistics
and a Masters in Theology from Princeton.
4. He's published 7 books and hundreds of papers.
5. He's internationally famous and in constant demand
as a speaker.
But lo and behold, I check my email today and there is an email
message from him saying that "he is looking forward to receiving
my paper", and will email me after he reads it.... christ, I almost
fell off my chair!
This guy might really be able to understand the SPoG... the first
guy in the world besides me to understand it! Not only that the
guy looks as straight as a ruler.
I'll keep you posted on this development!
