*ACTION ALERT*
Did you hear the latest?
Apparently the liberals are now smearing George
Bush & the Republican congress as insincere &
hypocrites.
Even if liberals don't know Jesus, their lack of
shame surprises me.
It all centered on the Terri Schiavo case. She's the
woman in Florida the liberals want to murder just
because her brain doesn't work any more. Her
lower brain functions -- the part that controls
automatic functions like breathing & heartbeat --
are still functioning, but her higher brain functions
are toast.
I guess that means her cerebellum isn't damaged.
That's the oldest part of the brain, the part that
controls automatic functions.
Anyhow, the liberals are attacking our President and
his Republican controlled congress over the Terri
Schiavo case, smearing them with false charges.
You see, apparently the liberals caught wind of the
fact that, as governor of Texas, George Bush signed
allow saying it was okay to unplug people like
Terri Schiavo from their life support and/or feeding
tubes, and Bush's law has been used quite recently
(in the last few days) to snuff a little black baby
against the mother's wishes.

DON'T BELIEVE THE LIBERALS!
They're trying to spin this into a contradiction, make
it out like Bush & his congress are staging the whole
Terri Schiavo thing for political gain, that their not
really sincere.
KNOW THE FACTS!
Although the two cases appear similar they are not.
For example, the mother of the baby killed under
Bush's law couldn't afford to pay for all the medical
treatment, and couldn't find a medical facility willing
to take the baby under those circumstances. The baby
was also beyond hope -- like Terri Schiavo -- but
lack of hope wasn't enough. If the mother could have
paid then her baby wouldn't have been unplugged
against her wishes.
TERRI SCHIAVO'S MEDICAL BILLS ARE BEING PAID!
There is NO similarity between the two cases.
Trial lawyers got together with an activist judge
and awarded plenty of money that can be used to
pay for Terri Schiavo's medical bills. The money is
there, it might as well get spent.
LIBERAL CONTRADICTION
What the evil liberals won't tell you is that they're
against the kind of legal reforms which would have
stopped the trial lawyers from getting a fat judgement
in the first place. Democrats WANT people to be
able to sue when their loved ones are rendered
brain dead, yet they're AGAINST using that money
to keep them in a vegetative state against their wishes.
LIBERALS: MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!
Do you want people like Terri Schiavo to be put
to rest, granting her loved ones closure, or do you
want people to be able to sue over brain damage,
collecting enough money to pay for their medical
expenses?
You can't have it both ways, liberals.

And here's our proof:
Load up two web browsers. In one, put the text of "Terri's Law", signed
by President George W. Bush. (Text here: http://tinyurl.com/6e838 )
In the other, put the text of the "Texas Futile Care Law", signed by
Governor George W. Bush. (Text here: http://tinyurl.com/6aufu )
Now, just read. You'll see that the Texas Futile Care Law states that
you can remove someone from life support if there is an inability to pay
for it. The first victim of TFCL? A 6-month old boy who had dwarfism.
The mother could not afford to keep him on life support, so the
doctors, under the TFCL, disconnected him. He took a few unassisted

Did you hear the latest?

Apparently the liberals are now smearing George
Bush & the Republican congress as insincere &
hypocrites.

That isn't a smear. It is stating the facts of the matter.

Even if liberals don't know Jesus, their lack of
shame surprises me.

Some Liberals are Christians, whether you like it or not.
The fact that you don't seem to think they are entitled to
their own opinions is shameful for you, not them.

It all centered on the Terri Schiavo case. She's the
woman in Florida the liberals want to murder just
because her brain doesn't work any more. Her
lower brain functions -- the part that controls
automatic functions like breathing & heartbeat --
are still functioning, but her higher brain functions
are toast.

Parts of Terri's brain no longer exist. This has been
proven. She will never awaken. There is no mind left.

I guess that means her cerebellum isn't damaged.
That's the oldest part of the brain, the part that
controls automatic functions.

Anyhow, the liberals are attacking our President and
his Republican controlled congress over the Terri
Schiavo case, smearing them with false charges.

Bush should keep his ultra-religious nose out of other people's
business. He shouldn't be involved in this at all.

Your use of the word 'snuff' shows us exactly where you
stand on this matter. The baby had no chance of a normal
life. If he had lived, he would have suffered horribly until
he died. And, you would wish this on a infant? Though I
get the impression that you wouldn't care, since the baby
was black.

http://jr-monsterfodder.dailykos.com/story/2005/3/19/213333/700

DON'T BELIEVE THE LIBERALS!

Why should anyone believe a whack job like you so
obviously are?

They're trying to spin this into a contradiction, make
it out like Bush & his congress are staging the whole
Terri Schiavo thing for political gain, that their not
really sincere.

Of course, they are doing this for political gain. And, fools
like you may allow him to get away with this. Bush doesn't
know the meaning of the word 'sincere'. His entire record
is proof of this.

I doubt that. Who with any kind of humanity would have
wished that kind of suffering on an infant?

TERRI SCHIAVO'S MEDICAL BILLS ARE BEING PAID!

There is NO similarity between the two cases.
Trial lawyers got together with an activist judge
and awarded plenty of money that can be used to
pay for Terri Schiavo's medical bills. The money is
there, it might as well get spent.

The money from the settlement has been spent. Michael saw to it
that it was all spent to take care of Terri. None of it went to her
parents who wanted a piece of the action.

Terri did not want to be kept in a vegetative state. Why
don't you try reading the court papers before showing
your ignorance?
I'm not concerned with the damned lawyers. I'm
concerned with Terri and what she wanted.

LIBERALS: MAKE UP YOUR MINDS!

Do you want people like Terri Schiavo to be put
to rest, granting her loved ones closure, or do you
want people to be able to sue over brain damage,
collecting enough money to pay for their medical
expenses?

Her parents don't want to put her to rest. Her husband is
trying to follow her wishes.

You can't have it both ways, liberals.

You can't just have it your way, ignorant ultra-conservative.

It's a good job that reading the heading of this thread made me unplug
my irony-o-meter. Which one of you a.a. regulars wrote this?

This jackass has been sending messages to alt.atheism ever since the
Presidential ...er... what can we call it? It certainly wasn't an election.

As displayed by your speaking in tongues, you obviously have
been touched by God, the truth revealed to you as He would
have it.
Usury is a sin, for both parties. Better that you should watch your
child & mother die -- knowing that their lack of sin ensures them
a place in Heaven -- than condemn their souls with medical debts.
Jesus loves them so that he has saw to it that they are poor,
unable to pay for medical care, ensuring a swift arrival at his
side. Are we to interfere with this divine gift, come between
the love of Jesus and the poor?
That's blasphamous!
As one so touched by God, surely you must see the wickedness
in those who would not deny medical care to those who ask for
it yet can't afford it.
Peace.

I've been told by many of the Christers that they must believe in a God,
otherwise they could not find the moral reason to keep from all sorts of
henious acts, including murder, rape, etc. According to them, there is no
morality without a belief in a God they cannot prove exists. Generally,
it's no skin off my ***** what they believe; whatever gets them through the
day and all that, but I object when they try to force their arcane beliefs
on me.
