Good Atheist Quote |
Geraldine Brooks is an Australian author and foreign correspondent with a
life that has been very dangerous at times.

She isn't an atheist herself, but she once said that a caring, loving friend
who was a non-believer once told her, "As an atheist I can't include you in
my daily prayers....but I will include you in my daily anxieties!"
I think that's a pretty good example of the atheist mind set. We can be
good and caring, just without the mumbo jumbo.

No name for who said it...they are only refered to in the interview as "an
atheist friend in Denver".
