Scumbag KKK Facist Jerry Falwell in critical condition!!
http://www.cnn.com/2005/US/03/29/falwell.health.ap/index.html
LYNCHBURG, Virginia (AP) -- The Rev. Jerry Falwell was hospitalized in
critical condition Tuesday, battling his second case of viral pneumonia in
just five weeks, hospital and church officials said.
Falwell, 71, was admitted to Lynchburg General Hospital shortly before
midnight Monday suffering from "respiratory arrest," the hospital said in a
statement.
He was put on a ventilator and stabilized but remained in critical
condition, the hospital said.
"He's resting comfortably and in stable condition," said Ron Godwin,
Falwell's executive assistant. "It's a recurrence of the viral pneumonia."
Falwell is the founder of the Moral Majority and chancellor of Liberty
University, which he also founded.
It was Falwell's second admission this year to Lynchburg General Hospital.
He was treated for pneumonia for 13 days in late February and early March.
For a time, he was on a ventilator.
In a recent interview with The Associated Press, Falwell said he was feeling
much better, but still recovering from his hospital stay.
Falwell had been in the pulpit Easter Sunday at Thomas Road Baptist Church
and appeared in good health, said the Rev. Dave Randlett, a senior associate
pastor.
"He always looks `up' so you wouldn't know if he wasn't" feeling well,
Randlett said. "He was very optimistic."
An avid sports fan, Falwell made the trip to Chattanooga, Tennessee, on
Saturday for the third round of the NCAA women's basketball tournament.
Liberty University's team ended its postseason run in a 90-48 loss to
top-seeded Louisiana State.
He also had been in the crowd on March 22 when the Liberty women beat DePaul
88-79 in the second round in College Park, Maryland.

It takes a truly disgusting excuse for a human being to take delight in
this
news. Thank you for once again reminding me that a lack of religion does
not imply the possession of any virtue beyond having a lack of religion.
I'm not going to run around in the streets in celebration when Falwell kicks

got another thing coming.

That's basically where I stand; I won't miss Falwell or any of his
kind. But to rejoice in the death of a guy simply because he has an
opposing worldview is, as Fester points out, petty and mean-spirited.
Reminds me of the Palestinians dancing in the streets after 9/11,

What Falwell needs is a "Hawkeye Pierce" type of doctor:
-----
Doc: "Sorry, I can't treat you. The science that produced
the theory of evolution you reject is the science
that made me a doctor. You'll just have to depend
on prayer to heal you."
Falwell: "Let me talk to another doctor!"
Doc: "Nope, can't do that. All the doctors here agree with
me: it would be unsafe to let you travel to another
hospital, and only doctors assigned to this hospital
can treat you. Put your health in the hands of the
lord instead of man, since that's what you preach."
-----
Maybe that will wake him up to reality. Falwell alive and
woken to reality would do more good than being dead.

Wouldn't it be odd, poetic justice, or just plain unsurprising
if the two bouts of pneumonia turned out to be complications of
AIDS? Has anyone actually _seen_ the (formerly?) fat slug since
it was admitted to the hospital?
For the anal retentive who can't tell suggestion from statement,
I am *not* saying Falwell has AIDS, just that in the light of
Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggart and their sexual proclivities, it
would not surprise to hear Falwell was up to no good in the
bedroom with somebody. Come on, with a stomach like that, do
you really think Falwell could masturbate by himself?
By the way, Larry Flynt has publicly given Falwell his best
wishes for a speedy recovery.

I always wondered two things about Fallwell.
A. How did he get intelligent people to debate him on TV
B. Who did his make up? A mortician. He looked like a corpse that had
been prepared for burial, when he appeared on Television.
