Good news for drunken clergymen |
Apparently it's okay to try and abuse children if you're a priest and an
alcoholic.

What was particularily sickening was that (which isn't reported in the
particular reports above but was on local radio) the parish (at least some
of them) were supporting him.
WTF? Sorry, I'll admit to getting a little bit "people friendly" when I'm
drunk but I certainly have no interest in minors.
Equally disturbing is the catholic church's lack of interest. Since xians
like to tell us how without religion we'd all be moral law breakers why do
they not hold the "advertisers" up to the same standard as they would the
man in the street. Lets face it, if he had been Joe Bloggs, he would of
been subjected to a mob long before now.

Of course. However, they have the 'keys to heaven(tm).' If the
priests say 'no,' it's off to Hell you will go.

The bizarre structure of the Catholic Church speaks for itself.
Which kind of goes to show you how the human mind can be numbed to
accept idiotic beliefs passed on from one generation to another.

Please post under the paragraph(s) you're responding to; it makes
things easier to follow.
