Thus far, nine current or former members of Fletcher's administration
have been indicted on a series of misdemeanor charges alleging
violations of the Merit System personnel law.
One person, dismissed former Transportation Cabinet commissioner Dan
Druen, also has been named in 22 indictments for witness or evidence
tampering.
All those who have been arraigned have pleaded not guilty.
The charges allege the officials routinely plotted to circumvent the
law that requires personnel decisions be made on the merits of the
candidate in favor of their political influence and support for
Fletcher.

FRANKFORT -- Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher has been subpoenaed to
appear before a special grand jury investigating personnel practices
within his administration.
The attorney general's office says Fletcher has been summoned to
appear on August 30.
The Attorney General's office declined to say if Fletcher is required
to produce documents at his appearance or provide any other details
about the summons.
Fletcher's office has so far declined to comment on the subpoena.
In previous statements, Fletcher declined to say if he would answer
questions before the panel or invoke his Fifth Amendment right against
self-incrimination.
The special grand jury has previously summoned virtually all of
Fletcher's top staff.
Thus far, nine current or former members of Fletcher's administration
have been indicted on a series of misdemeanor charges alleging
violations of the Merit System personnel law.

And both Gore and WJC campaigned / solicited campaign contributions
from the White House, a violation of Federal Campaign laws.
Gore was in fact photographed -- and VIDEOTAPED meeting with Red
Chinese delegates for the purposes of accepting campaign contributions
from foreign nationals-- and enemies of the US, which is a treasonable
offense.
Only with the Left in FIRM control of BOTH houses of Congress, nothing
was done.
Your observations qualify as HIGHLY SELECTIVE indignation.
That is, if the Dems do it, it's ok.
