This would be really cool, if just in the last few weeks I hadn't
seen one of the Republican operatives *Still* denouncing Kerry
for that imaginary "flip-flopping."
Remember: Democrats who hold one fewer positions on a spending
bill than the President are nasty "Flip-Floppers," and Republicans
who change their position on the war -- and on Democrats who change
their minds -- BUT ONLY AFTER PUBLIC SUPPORT IS AGAINST
THEM are brave men of principles.
Yup.
It takes a man of principle to change his mind in the face of
overwhelming public opinion in favor of the new position,
and only Republicans can do that.
No, seriously.
*Only* Republicans are allowed to do that. Democrats are
smeared mercilessly for coming to the very same conclusions
more than a year earlier, when there was still time to save
lives.
