Last year my website (then called The Meme Machine) had around 700
visitors per day and a Google PageRank of 6. This year the visitor
numbers have increased to over 2,300 per day (visits, not crude hits)
and I'm serving well over a gigabyte per month but the Google PageRank
has slipped down to 5. I want to restore my lost six appeal.

Google explains PageRank:
http://www.google.com/technology/
My link page has a Page Rank of 5. Having a link from that page to
your website will improve the ranking of your site. That's how page
ranking works, measuring both the quantity and "quality" of inbound
links. I'm looking for more inbound links to boost my site's rank and
I'm happy to return the favour.
My site has nearly 500 pages. That gives me a lot of potential for
linking. I am happy to trade links with suitable sites. The main
subject area is atheism but I also cover politics, memetics,
evolution, environmentalism and lots of stuff about sex and drugs and
wider philosophical issues as well.
If you have a website please come and visit my site and see how well
the two sites fit together. I am looking for inbound links to my main
page, my atheism index and also for particular content pages. The site
no longer operates in frames which makes direct linking to particular
pages much easier than it was previously. I suspect that my previous
use of frames has made my pagerank lower than it would otherwise have
been.
In addition to simple tit-for-tat linking I am also seeking new
material for the site and new links to relevant material. If you have
a page that goes into greater detail about a subject one of my pages
touches upon I'd be happy to add a link to that page. I am also
looking for people to contribute more material. If you have a site
with great material but few visitors you could get more people to read
your work by allowing me to republish the material on my site,
complete with several links back to the original source, that way more
people read your stuff and if they like what they read they can follow
the links to read some more.
The site, Debate Unlimited: http://mwillett.org/, is free of adverts,
devoid of spurious graphics, easy on the eye and loads very quickly,
which is all part of its appeal.
Follow the link to the site and find my email address there, just
click the link that says "email" (simple is good).
