Joyce Meyer (and husband).
Benny Hinn.
Creflo Dollar (and Taffi, too-no surprise if you've seen the show).
Kenny Copeland (and his "charming" bride Gloria).
The others, I haven't heard of. One is Eddie Long (odd that I hadn't
heard of him-he's based in Georgia), whose schtick is "curing" gays
and Randy and Paula White of Tampa FL, who own something called
"Without Walls International Church.
I guess I'm not the only one who saw "Believers' Voice of Victory" the
night Kenny was bragging about his fucking Gulfstream...<g>

Joyce Meyer (and husband).

From your submission:
"Meyer has never apologized for her financial success. In the 2003 series,
Meyer said everything she has - the $10 million corporate jet, her $2
million home, her family's fleet of fancy cars - were blessings straight
from God.
Meyer preaches the "prosperity gospel" and uses blunt pitches to get her
followers to open their wallets."
I've gotta tell ya, I have *never* understood how (primarily) working class
people could be so easily duped by these sort of charlatans.
Most of my programming comes via satellite, but I do get a number of airshot
channels, including TBN. Nothing but 24/7 appeals for money, from a variety
of over-the-top hucksters
like Meyer and Hinn.
I'm particularly fascinated by the troupe of big-hair snake oil salespeople
that broadcast from some Gawdforsakenly opulent studio, so drenched in
goldleaf that it hurts the eyes to look at it.
What is it about "conspicuous consumption" that the donors to these scammers
don't understand?
Sheesh! Baby Jebus weeps...

Woohoo! Excellent. And about time.
That Joyce Meyer beyotch is on like 3 different channels here in the early
a.m. Can't stand her. I noticed last year or so that she'd gotten a face
lift and one of the items being questioned is how much she spent on plastic
surgery. Ha!

LOL - No, she actually did just the right much. However, shouldn't she be
happy with the wrinkles her god gave her? Wasn't she screwing with his

I'll have to check her out. I've heard the name, but never caught the
show. I've been watching Dollar, Hinn, and Copeland for quite some
time (Copeland since the `80's! he may be my favorite freak). I think
the reason I didn't know the other ones is because I just haven't
watched anyone new lately. I missed Bob Larson completely, and still
think of the Crouches as a syndicated show instead of a nationwide
satellite plague.
Although I did frighten one of our more superstitious folks at work
once...her friend had named her daughter Trinity after Paul and Jan's
monstrosity, and I reminded her that "Trinity" was also the name of an
early US Nuke test...

Have a beer for me at the Euclid Yacht Club sometime! I've got about a
year and a half left paying child support, and then I'm back to town!
I'm so sick of these Kobb Kounty Khristians...
One of the first things I saw when I first moved here (about `86 or
so) was a gay pride parade in Virginia Highlands. I had never seen so
many gay people in one place before. My favorite sign was "Equal
Rights or we'll Restore your neighborhood!".
I quess East Atlanta is next, right? That's where my buddy's band
plays now...<g>

I don't know...before the Braves started winning games, fans for our
