GrapeApe Press: Museum Aims to Equip Christians With Bible-Based Science |
From the article:

February 4, 2005
(AgapePress) - Work continues on an exciting new educational facility
designed to teach about how science supports the biblical view of
creation.
The 100,000-square-foot building that will house the Creation Museum
is complete, but numerous displays for the project remain under
construction. The 25 million-dollar facility, which sits on a major
highway exit near the Kentucky-Ohio border, is set to open to the
public in the spring of 2007.
Ken Ham is president of Answers in Genesis, the organization
spearheading the museum project. "It's going to be a walk through
biblical history with animatronics and computer technology, telling
people the true history of the world, about creation, the fall of man,
the flood of Noah, the origin of races, marriage ... and so on," he
says.

The biblical origin of marriage...I'd like to see that. I once spent a
completely fruitless debate trying to get a straight answer--or ANY
answer--on how the bible defines a marriage. Trouble was, any reasonable
bible-based answer he could come up with includes several modern
relationships he didn't want defined as marriage.

And remember, like Adam, you're supposed to test out all the aninmals to see
if they make a better "companion" first.

Does that include testing all the party animals?

Sounds like a creationist Disneyland, and obviously for the same purpose.

"So much blood has been shed by the Church because of an omission from the Gospel: "Ye
shall be indifferent as to what your neighbor's religion is." Not merely tolerant of it,
but indifferent to it. Divinity is claimed for many religions; but no religion is great
enough or divine enough to add that new law to its code."

Didn't one of the TV preachers already build a bible theme park about
a decade ago?

The money spent on that museum could probably have provided homes,
clothing and a year's supply of food for every last tsunami victim.
