Hagel the anointed |
Anyone who thinks that democracy might be returning
to America any time soon should take note of the
amount of media attention the Bush mafia has ordered
up for Chuck Hagel.
And it's not just the fact of the attention, it's that it's
all geared towards reinforcing the idea that he's an
anti-war "Moderate."
And, of course, there's no charges of "flip flopping"
or "pandering" for a Republican who voted to authorize
Bush's use of the military in Iraq, only to later decide
that things weren't going so great AFTER public opinion
turned against the war. Not like we saw (still see) with
the media and John Kerry.
Democrats "Flip-flop." Democrats "Pander." Republicans
are *Always* firm, confident and oh so "Decisive." Yes,
even when holding their 18th position on an issue.
There's a very good chance we might actually be
seeing Cheney's replacement. Yup. Chuck Hagel,
"The Great Reformer" -- the man who sets everything
right after that wicked big meanie head, ***** Cheney, did
all those naughty things while Bush was in his persistent
vegetative state.... I mean, while Bush was acting all
"decisive" like... and certainly too decisively to
know what was going on during his watch... I mean,
when it comes to torture and outing CIA agents... 'Cus
he was too busy being entirely responsible for all the
good stuff (to be identified at some much later date) to
have known about any of the bad stuff which is all
***** Cheney's fault... or something like that.
Cheney can't run in 2008. He's too old, he's gotten far too
much mileage out of his "bad heart" story & he bears an
uncanny likeness to the evil Emperor in Star Wars III,
"Return of the Jedi."
Bush needs an heir.
Looks like someone picked Hagel.
Be afraid. Be *Very* afraid.
