Haggard the Whoreable Tells Congregation To Bend Over &Take It Some More |
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,294538,00.html
It's hard to know where to begin with this story. When I saw Mr. Sneery
Grin in the news again I knew it would be good for a few laughs, but this
takes the cake. Not only is the guy as shameless as ever about asking
for money that he doesn't need, but he's apparently way too good to work
part time flipping burgers, like the average college student.
BTW, what's the deal with Haggard not even having an advanced degree in
theology or something? I mean, I know Christers are dumbfucks, but they
must have pretty low standards for training for their top leadership.
Then again, they picked an illiterate moron like Jebus to follow, so I
guess I shouldn't be surprised.

"It is fashionable to wax apocalyptic about the
threat to humanity posed by the AIDS virus, 'mad cow'
disease, and many others, but I think a case can be
made that faith is one of the world's great evils,
comparable to the smallpox virus but harder to
eradicate." -- Richard Dawkins

You've got to remember that the 'Holy Spirit' filled the Tedster with his
divine knowledge. Who needs degrees up the butt from some divinity school
when one-third of a 'God' is providing you with divine instruction?
And 'Jebus' was not a complete 'illiterate moron'. He was a mortal who was
deluded into thinking he was something that he clearly was not and ended up
paying the ultimate price for his folly. 'My God, my God, Why hast thou
forsaken me? ' is the plaintive cry of that individual who realized the
reality of his delusion but, tragically, far too late for him.

That's self-contradictory.

You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons,
sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on
water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you
say that we are the ones that need help?
