It's actually a very beautifully made and lyrical piece of art. It's not
actually a movie, but it's not really a documentary either. It's a series
of beautifully shot vignettes of "life" usually in third world countries
with Philip Glass's music over the top of the vision. Both films are
beautiful works of art....but unfortunately boring as bat ***** if you are
looking for a night's entertainment. I always thought they would be good
played on a screen wall during a high class party...or maybe stoned off your
head with a group of art students!

Indeed, very pretty, but very boring if you don't like that kinda thing.
