I'm hoping you contract avian flu from your dealings with a turkey.

Thanks for the warm sentiment! My problem is that Thanksgiving *and*
Christmas will prove for me to be, for all intents and purposes, as
non-existent as 'God' -- *again*!! Certain 'Christians' out my way will have
seen to *that*.
And, ironically enough, my cousin's husband has been 'next door' for the
past couple of days now -- and just less than 200-feet away -- as a matter
of fact, and not even so much as a 'howdy ya do ... need water, me to take a
look at that furnace; need a ride into town?'
(Her brother will, no doubt send me a Christmas card saying how so, so much
God 'loves' and 'blesses' me. As well as a reminder to go see, or rent some
religious movie -- knowing I can't get a ride into either nearby town, no
doubt. Ah, the pleasures of the 'holidays'.)
But, hey! Many an atheist is going to enjoy celebrating Thanksgiving -- and
have a ton of reasons *for* doing so. It *is* nice to spread some good cheer
once in a while. So in the 'spirit' of good will: 'Happy Thanksgiving' to
you and yours right back at you.
(Say 'Hi' to my favorite imaginary deity for me if you two happen to cross
paths today or tomorrow. And tell him to stop being so dang 'distant'. It's
as if he isn't even real anymore.)

Did I say 'real'? Dang. I must have received an 'extra' dose of imaginary
'blessing'. Only those people who have actual proof that a 'God' exists
could possibly say something like that. And, when one looks at the number of
people who possess that 'actual proof' it turns out to be absolutely
*staggering*. It's 'none'. Not a one.

More colonial, theist twaddle. The native peoples should have strung you
up! You should all be ashamed of what happened let alone "give thanks"...
You lied, stole, killed and raped your way across america after they saved
your theist arses time and time again in the early days. Sickening!

I'd be more than thankful to your deity if it could expedite your
death; let's say---right now?
