Happy Vernal Equinox! |
Spring will be here shortly, at 18:26 UTC (13:26 EST for you Yanks).
Time to throw open the windows, let the fresh air in, and worship the
gods and the Goddess. Say goodbye to Winter and the dark half of the
year, and say hello to Spring and the next 6 months of light.
Thank the gods and Goddess for the good things (and the bad) that came
your way during the last 6 months, and time to put in your wishes for
the next 6.
Ladies, don't forget to clean out your menstrual rags when you light
your candles.
Happy Vernal Equinox, Happy Spring!
Goddess Bless You!

Yeah, considering the 50-80 degree weather we enjoyed (in Tulsa) during
large portions of the winter, 40s and rainy is a pretty poor entry into
spring.

Hmmm. I have it at 3:07 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
It's a celestial event. Menses are not involved.

I was out on Saturday and heard a lonely cicada out singing. It
must've wintered over the generally mild winter we had here in
Illinois. They usually don't show up until July or August. The robins
are back, the sandhill cranes are overhead, it's Spring! I think we
should square the planet up to the ecliptic and see if it tames down
the weather a bit. If we don't like the results, we could just tilt it
again...

Ooops....someone forgot to tell mother nature. It's exactly three
degrees above freezing here. At 3pm in the afternoon.
At this rate we'll see spring in the year 2017.

Oh our skies are a clear blue.....not a cloud in the sky. Three
degrees above freezing but not a cloud in the sky.
