Saw a bumper sticker yesterday: Little American flag, with big bold words,
THESE COLORS NEVER RUN!
....but all the red was faded off the sticker.

That's all American muscle has ever been, words.
WWI and WWII the US was running the other way until forced,
and ran away from Beirut and Vietnam after thinking it would
be an easy fight. The US only takes those it can (or thinks
it can) defeat easily.
