Has Jason Gastrich lied again? |
A part of my ministry here in Usenet and on the web is to teach the
bible verse by verse. But another MAJOR aspect of my ministry is to
expose the cults and those that teach false damming doctrine(s) whom
claim to be christians. These I call Spiritual terrorists.
Besides these very time consuming duties I also find it important to
warn others of frauds in christendom. These frauds may be saved but no
doubt have unconfessed sin in their lives.
While its no question that Jason Gastrich is a brother in the Lord, its
also important to realize that Jason seems to be a fraud and liar. I
believe that most people already know this, and I was one of the last to
come to my senses.
Recently I came across this on Jason's website.
JCSM Internship
Thank you for your interest in an internship with Jesus Christ Saves
Ministries.
JCSM's interns spend 2 hours a week, for 10 weeks, being trained in
Christian ministry, conversing with Jason Gastrich and doing an
interesting variety of ministry tasks. They spend approximately one
hour in training and one hour in hands-on tasks each week.
There are many, great reasons to be a JCSM intern. They include
ministry experience, skills, fellowship, independence and some perks!
Experience - Your training will teach you how to be an excellent
minister. It will also give you ministry experience (that will look
great on a resume!).
Skills - Based on their current level of development, interns learn
valuable skills such as web site creation, search engine submission,
forum ministry, advertising, witnessing, counseling, etc. All of these
skills will be helpful in future ministry endeavors.
Fellowship - Interns will have Christian fellowship with Jason and with
others as they participate in hands-on training. This is a good
"people-person" experience.
Independence - The skills that JCSM interns learn are valuable because
they can be used with other ministries and to start their own ministry.
Since JCSM is an independent ministry, interns learn how they can
independently minister without having to find scarce ministry jobs
before they begin serving the Lord.
Perks - In addition to the experience, skills, fellowship and benefits
of independence, interns that complete the 10 week internship (20 total
hours) receive an exclusive JCSM email address, the JCSM Internship
Completion Certificate and a reference letter from JCSM for their
outstanding achievement.
What You Need
1) Love - A desire to minister to others
--
What amazes me is that Jason claims to have "a desire to minister to
others." I may not know but I from experience can vouch that Jason has
no desire to minister to anyone but himself. But I think it's unfair to
Jason to base this conclusion on my experience.
So I went undercover in an effort to see Jason's true colors.
Here is the transcript of my UNDERCOVER chat with Jason.
In this chat I came across as one that is hurting and needing some
encouragement.
Joegalleway (8:48:59 PM): Is this Jason Gastrich? Did you get my
Christmas email?
MrJasonGastrich (8:49:22 PM): yes
Joegalleway (8:49:28 PM): The names Joe Galleway and I'm a Stanford
student
Joegalleway (8:49:46 PM): Some of the guys around here have mentioned
your name
Joegalleway (8:50:02 PM): In our campus bible club
MrJasonGastrich (8:50:52 PM): oh yeah?
Joegalleway (8:51:21 PM): Oh yeah dude! We have some major Usenet
geekies here
Joegalleway (8:51:40 PM): Dont you know hip?
Joegalleway (8:52:21 PM): Well anyways I have read your work. God
bless you man. You stand for the truth
MrJasonGastrich (8:53:09 PM): Thanks. God bless you, too. I'm not much
of a usenetter any more.
Joegalleway (8:54:12 PM): Well your still the no#1 talk of the town,
outside of that fundy bible thumper ***** Bible John, and the other
freaks on thsoe nutty boards
Joegalleway (8:57:22 PM): I might want to order your SAB. Can I order
it by phone? My credit history is a sad joke, so I'm afraid I would
only be able to mail a check.
MrJasonGastrich (8:58:27 PM): Here's an order form you can
print/handwrite and mail:
http://skepticsannotatedbible.org/orderform.htm . You may want to
hurry. It goes up $5 on 1/1/2006.
Joegalleway (8:58:55 PM): Do you sell allot dude?
Joegalleway (8:59:56 PM): Probably easier to call I bet. I'd be
calling from the 650 area code. I know how expensive those toll free
lines are.
Joegalleway (9:02:09 PM): But I do have a question for you if you dont
mind
Joegalleway (9:04:21 PM): You there bro?
Joegalleway (9:07:13 PM): Does the bible really forbid divorce? I mean
are there exceptions? I married a ***** who has done nothing but screw
up my credit history and make life miserable for me. I married her
before I came to know the Lord.
Joegalleway (9:07:50 PM): I read that you have been divorced so what
did God play in that decision?
MrJasonGastrich SIGNS OFF
It really amazes me that Jason would claim to be an effective minister
to others, yet had little interest in counseling Joe Galleway and his
divorce and credit pickles.

To be fair, the only thing known for sure about a Gastrich divorce is that
there was a filing. Where it stands now is unknown. I don't think that
anyone has ever said otherwise.
Having clarified *that*, and while I confess that the whole impersonation
episode that you relate was rather amusing, reminding me of the many prank
phone calls another ministry phony, Bob Larson, used to get, I would
suggest that you have enough of your own troubles and should deal with
those before presuming to tangle with the likes of Winter and Gastrich.
You also have your own unChristian attitudes and behaviors to correct. In
other words, look to that beam, John.
And before you say it, let me save you the trouble: HORN YOU DEVIL!
Now go get a job.

Here's a cult for you: The Abrahamic Death Cult. It believes that mankind
was immortal until its progenitors disobeyed its god, then mortality became
what life was all about.
One sect of this cult believes that said god sent its son to redeem mankind
and give it back its immortality, but in order to do this, its son had to
be killed in a brutal and barbaric way. The followers of this sect believe
that they, and only they, are immortal and that any death and suffering
they inflict on anybody else in order to persuade them to be followers of
it is the victim's fault.
