Hastert says it's all the Democrats' fault |
Today's interview with Rush Limbaugh
SPEAKER HASTERT: There were two pieces of paper out there, one that we
knew about and we acted on; one that happened in 2003 we didn't know
about, but somebody had it, and, you know, they're trying -- and they
drop it the last day of the session, you know, before we adjourn on an
election year. Now, we took care of Mr. Foley. We found out about it,
asked him to resign. He did resign. He's gone. We asked for an
investigation. We've done that. We're trying to build better
protections for these page programs.
But, you know, this is a political issue in itself, too, and what we've
tried to do as the Republican Party is make a better economy, protect
this country against terrorism -- and we've worked at it ever since
9/11, worked with the president on it -- and there are some people that
try to tear us down. We are the insulation to protect this country, and
if they get to me it looks like they could affect our election as well.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(AP 10/3) - Meanwhile, Florida newspapers -- who were leaked copies of
the e-mail with the Louisiana boy last year -- defended their decision
not to run stories. Both The St. Petersburg Times and The Miami Herald
were given copies of the e-mail, as were other news organizations,
including FOX NEWS.

So much for the "party of personal responsibility." Of course, that
was never more than a misleading catchphrase anyway. Never was and
never will be true of the GOP and conservatives.

The result of this investigation may well be that a number of democrats, as well
as journalists, will be charged with child endangerment for not telling the
police sooner. It is a crime to have known about this and withheld the
information for political purposes. And it seems that many journalists did
withhold this information because Foley was homosexual.
Also remember Congressman Gary Studds (D-MA) who had sex with a male page and
was re-elected several times afterwards (MA democrats seem to have a thing about
sex with children, i.e. the democrat Catholic priests). Then there was
Congressman Mel Reynolds (D-IL) who went to prison for having sex with a 14 year
old girl.
The real concern is that democrats have become so bitter, so hateful, that they
will so push the political envelope that someone will gun down a democrat
candidate for congress. We more daily closer to civil war within the US.

Come on silly boy. You can do better than that. You're supposed to
find a way to pin any and all
even-remotely-associated-with-the-the-Republican-party failings (in
this case Foley's personal sins) on *Bill Clinton*, remember? Hilary
