have you heard of the House of Lords? |
33, Mincing Lane

Dear Lords and Ladies,
I hope those are your right titles. I have the great honour=AD=AD=AD of
addressing you in such a time of foreboding peace among the
=AD=AD=ADnations
of
the British Isles.
I prefer to describe myself as English, rather than British,=AD=AD=AD
which
some
of you may find distasteful, but I am a passionate man. I a=AD=AD=ADm
currently
writing a Historical Novel about the Wars of the Roses, enti=AD=AD=ADtled
Roses
Peace Warrior that I may shorten to Roses Peace upon publica=AD=AD=ADtion.
It
is about a soldier who is on the side of the House of Lancas=AD=AD=ADter
and
he
finds out on his return from the first battle that his wife'=AD=AD=ADs
family
is in support of the House of York. I won't tell you any mo=AD=AD=ADre of
the
plot, as I will send you all a copy to read. I am trying to=AD=AD=AD make
it
as
historically truthful as possible.
Seeing as there is an upcoming General Election, I was going=AD=AD=AD to
stand
as an Independent in my Home Constituency of Blackburn, curr=AD=AD=ADently
held
by the Foreign Secretary. I have decided against this as Ja=AD=AD=ADck
Straw
MP
recently sent a letter to the whole Constituency touting for=AD=AD=AD
votes.
I am not completely put off by this, as I am determined to m=AD=AD=ADake
some
impression on my future constituents through either the Gree=AD=AD=ADn
Party
or
the LibDems. I have yet to decide whom to help but it looks=AD=AD=AD more
realistic to help the LibDems. Don't get me wrong, I voted
=AD=AD=ADLabour
in
1997 and I didn't cast a vote in 2001, but I will definitely=AD=AD=AD
stand
in
the election after next, I am only 37 years of age. Jack St=AD=AD=ADraw
may
be
the Prime Minister by then. I am a Socialist who believes
e=AD=AD=ADveryone
should be equally wealthy rather than equally poor. I stood=AD=AD=AD in
the
local elections last June and gained 250 votes off 1000 leaf=AD=AD=ADlets.
My
political website is www.feelfree.org.uk and I will be creating my own
Party rather than 'copying' the ideology of other parties.
My main issue is to create a North West Assembly along with =AD=AD=ADthe
three
other Assemblies that will each have Self-Government and are=AD=AD=AD able
to
make their own Laws. A President will be chosen from the fo=AD=AD=ADur
First
Ministers by national vote. I haven't thought about the Hou=AD=AD=ADse of
Lords, but I am very much in support of Our Majesty Queen
El=AD=AD=ADizabeth
II
as Head of the Church of England and therefore the Head of t=AD=AD=ADhe
Theocracy of England.
I am a Practising Catholic myself, attending Saturday Vigil =AD=AD=ADand
then
on
Sunday I attend a Church of England service with a friend, w=AD=AD=ADhom I
will
be recommending for Knighthood once I am President of Englan=AD=AD=ADd
working
in Harmony with the Queen. I can't tell you at the moment
w=AD=AD=ADhether
the people will choose to allow an accession to the Throne a=AD=AD=ADs the
current Prince of Wales is not quite as Graceful as Our Poor=AD=AD=AD
Queen.
Let me tell you a little about myself.
When I was about seven years old, I wrote that I wanted to b=AD=AD=ADe a
Priest,
and in our home we had a small plastic statue of Christ with=AD=AD=AD a
Crown
and Orb. I wasn't so wise in those days, although I mostly =AD=AD=ADcame
top
of the class, and I used to think to myself that if the Quee=AD=AD=ADn
wanted
to
knight me, I would refuse the title. Nowadays, I would only=AD=AD=AD
accept
a
Knighthood for myself if the Queen performed the Ceremony in=AD=AD=AD the
old-fashioned way with a sword and at Blackburn Cathedral.
I am currently tracing my Family History and if I find a lin=AD=AD=ADk to
John
of Gaunt you will no doubt be hearing quite a lot more from =AD=AD=ADme.
I leave you with that thought for the future, and a portion =AD=AD=ADof my
nightly Prayer,
..=2E.and please Lord; help me create Peace with Justice for th=AD=AD=ADe
Poor...
I ask this in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ
Yours Faithfully,
Damian John Paul Brown
P=2ES. Please say a prayer that the Pope may become well and
w=AD=AD=ADelcome
back
the Church of England
I will be in London on Tuesday the 8th February making some
capital from the Capital City=20

And what about Cain and Abel? I can just hear the Lord saying, "Vegetables,
you offer me lousy vegetables! Get outta town you silly wimp!"
The Cain says "Man that God really burns me up! I'll teach Him a lesson! He
wants meat does He? I'll show Him some fresh meat!"
then he says to Abel, "Hey Smartass! Take that! (Whack) And that! (Whack!)

I think there was a late-80's-early 90's hair band called House of Lords.
They bit it, if I remember correctly.

Don't discourage him. We're about to find out how many holes it takes to
fill the Albert Hall.
