Aloha State set to become Abortion State
"If the Republican Governor of Hawaii fails to veto this radical
abortion bill Hawaii's image will suffer irreparable damage..."
(Front Royal, Va.) The Rev. Thomas J. Euteneuer, President of Human
Life International issued the following statement regarding Hawaii
House Bill 1242 HD 1 (Relating to Abortion).
"The abortion industry and its water carriers in the Hawaii State
Legislature are set to destroy Hawaii's image as the Aloha State.
Hawaiian culture is world renowned for its respect for the dignity of
human life and celebration of family, Ohana in Hawaiian.
"A small group of powerful elites are pushing the most radical
abortion legislation in world history on the beautiful people of
Hawaii.
"HB 1242 would allow late term abortions in 'a clinic or
physician's office.'
"The bill removes 'residency requirements' paving the way for
Hawaii to become the home of abortion tourism.
"If Hawaii's Republican Governor fails to veto this radical
abortion bill Hawaii's image will suffer irreparable damage. Hawaii
will go from the Aloha State to the Abortion State in nine short days
if Governor Lingle lets HB 1242 become law," concluded the Rev.
Thomas J. Euteneuer.

nonsense; it would be cheaper to go to canada for an abortion than fly to
hawaii. and how does this damage hawaii's "image" if you're doing your own

As someone who has lived in Hawaii for over 5 years, I have to disagree
with you. First, are you sure the "thug" was Hawaiian? There are many
other Pacific Islanders who live on Oahu, some of whom have a
reputation for, let us say nastiness. I know a fair number of
Hawaiians, and they seem to be very nice people, in general. Of course,
there are exceptions, as there are for people of all ethnicities.

True, the incident was about 35 years ago, and they guy probably had a
bad day. But he was described to me as a native hawaiian, who probably
had a thing for what he still thought of as "foreigners" in his
"country". Still, I can't see categorizing a nation of people as
"beautiful" any different from categorizing them as "hateful".

True. Seems to me that most of the problem's in Oahu's interior were
caused by the Samoans who worked the cane and pineapple fields.

When I was stationed at Schofield Barracks, we were warned not to go
into Wahiawa alone. Soldiers had been beaten and robbed by locals for
the crime of being mainlanders outside of Waikiki.
