Object: Hellooooo everyone
Just popping in to say hi and stuff, since it's been a while.
So, er, hi and stuff. :)
I see some of the old trolls are STILL here. Amazing.
Btw, what's a good newsreader? I've gone and forgotten what I used to
use.

Are they saying anything new? (knowing the answer already ;)

As if they are. What else is amazing is that people still reply to
'em! Actually, I find myself fighting hard not to succumb to the
temptation to reply myself, even tho I swore I wouldn't this time
around. :P

Btw, what's a good newsreader? I've gone and forgotten what I used to

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. Now to just get off my lazy arse
and have a look at 'em... ;)

Hi Beth. I don't remember you, but hi, anyway.
I have a Mac and I use MT-NewsWatcher v3.4. It's good and it's free.

Also a Mac X user, and I use Hogwasher, it isn't free but well worth the
cost.

I've heard about that one, but MT works fine for me. Maybe when I
upgrade next time I'll take a look at Hogwasher.

Forte Agent. Accept no substitutes: the free version ("Free Agent")
doesn't have the payware program's awesome filtering ability, and
there's no better newsreader for binary files that I've encountered.

Yes, with the spell checker, it catches a lot of my "fast fingers" spelling errors. But
unless you're careful, it substitutes words for what it thinks a misspelling and that can
be even more embarrassing if you're not careful.

This is true. Which may well be a first, in context. Mind you, that
said, I think the Agent spell check is quite interesting for what it
doesn't contain, as well as what it does.
Anyway, so when is the new version out? Anyone know?
