'Heroes' who kill unborn babies |
http://worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=54757
By Katie Wright
Who are your heroes?
Perhaps, like me, you have chosen people of conviction and clear mind to be
your heroes, people who swim upstream against the ever-changing tides of
popular opinion to achieve higher purposes and greater goals. In a world
where human life and dignity come cheap, and moral clarity comes at a
premium, perhaps you have chosen people like Mother Teresa and Martin Luther
King Jr. - people who saw the value of things like life and freedom and who
persevered through countless trials to give people those things. Perhaps you
have chosen veterans who were captured or wounded or scarred, or soldiers
who gave their lives so that you and I could live and be free.
Here's betting you did not choose someone who dismembers unborn babies.
A photo of a first trimester abortion will send chills down your spine: the
first thing you see is the blood. Then, a tiny arm with a hand and five
fingers and its own unique fingerprint. There is a frame, a body and
shoulders and small legs with feet and perfect little toes, and when you
look for the heart, you find only . a gaping hole in the chest. The scene is
not unlike a tiny child shot with a great big bullet. The eyes are closed.
The arms are strewn about. Blood comes forth from the hole, where the ribs
broke in half like the tender twigs of spring. They say that a fetus can
feel pain; none of us who survived our fetal stage will ever know how much.
They say they have seen them scream, gasp, fight and struggle feebly. By
this stage of life brainwaves can be identified, but none of us will ever
know what they were thinking. They were silently scraped out, dropped in a
cold container and sent to "waste disposal." Gone in silence. No Mother
Teresa to rush into the surgery room and say, "No! Stop this madness!"
No, the madness goes on. And in place of heroes who value life and human
dignity, the National Abortion Federation would like to introduce you to
their "heroes," whom they are dedicating this week to honoring:
abortionists.
In a recent NAF petition, which is designed to "let them know how much you
appreciate their commitment to reproductive freedom," you are asked to sign
your name below the line which says, "Abortion providers are much more than
highly trained medical professionals: they are also heroes."
Heroes - for what? For ridding the world of some lives? For helping women
dispose of their babies? Heroes! Going to war with scissors and knives
against the tiniest and most helpless of adversaries! Starting every day
with the pride that comes with knowing they will scrape a few more arms and
legs into the disposal! How proud the NAF must be of these "warriors" who
"battle" to slice hearts smaller than your pinkie finger! It is a tragedy, a
travesty, a heinous mockery of the value of life, to blatantly celebrate a
profession which has put a million brutal ends to a million beautiful lives,
and to flatter and adulate the individuals who are paid to eradicate lives.
Once more, the abortion industry is at it again, ever trying to
overcompensate for the truth of their business; holding parties and marches
and talking about pride and freedom, making so many efforts to rejoice about
what they do and honor themselves. All of it is a frustrated, overdone,
futile effort to make the public believe that their actions are morally
acceptable, and yes, even worth celebrating.
They blind themselves to the statistics that prove they are losing the
battle (studies show that 72 percent of American youth now consider abortion
morally wrong; 62 percent of American women say that they wish abortion were
not available, or at least that it was more strictly limited) and they come
up with preposterously brazen ideas like celebrating abortion.
At its heart, abortion is one of the saddest things that can happen to a
woman. At best, it is a failure; at worst, a murder. You can bet that
post-abortive women are not celebrating these "heroes" on every anniversary
of the day their baby was due to be born. No, because these women have a
natural sense of loss, and an understanding of the moral weight of this
issue. They are not the ones holding signs that say, "Abortive and proud of
it."
The truth is, you can plaster "hero" all over the profession, but you cannot
change its core. You can use pretty terms like "steadfast" and "dedicated"
and "women's health" to try and hide the facts, but you cannot change the
truth. You can try to cover your bases with words like "safe" and "legal"
but you cannot ever erase the tiny chest with the broken ribs and the
gaping, bleeding hole.
No, not even a hero can do that.

There are no unborn babies. Unless you call yourself "predead person".
Besides, if you wanna help your cause, how about stopping to post
here. Your mere existence is a reason why abortion has to be kept
legal.

God is better handled by social science

It's happening. But the shift is shifting _away_ from the organized
and structured religions as we know it. Check out the fall of Catholic
Church, for an example. The truths many of you fear acknowledging are
getting swiftly exchanged in a more connected, vastly mobile world
than you'd like, and clingers like you are dragging your feet. The
more crazies like you threaten dissenters the more dissenters you will
breed from it, but it's happening because it has to.
God is better handled by social science
than by natural science.
My working hypothesis for this week is this:
God is our world government in exile.
No -- the idea of God is the idea of God. The time of brotherhood and
independent thought is upon us and of course with any change comes
significant grief and resistance; but it'll happen, nevertheless. So
suck it up and move on.

Maybe not. No such concept has ever been proven.
It's about time for a paradigm shift.
You're reduced to spamming.
Typical religious zealot.
I guess I have to do all the work.
Arrogantly stupid.
Bye!

Don't believe everything you read.
God didn't cause the flood and destroy Sodom and Gomorrah? I guess
the Bible isn't inerrant.

Even your idea of God.

Exactly.
Atheists think that they definitely know what Gid is.
But God can be many things to many people.
For atheist, God is something
that exists in the natural world?
But what does God have to be so?
Don't they say God is a spirit?
That's probably like saying
they don't exactly know what it is.
So, let's just say God is a theory
in social science.
Something rather like 'power' in political science.
How do the prove that power exists there?
They don't.
They try to define it a little.
They keep on changing their understanding of it
as they develop their political science.
So what's the difference
between theology and social sciences?
Scientific methods?
If so, why don't we do some science of God?
Just one thing.
You don't have to be a physicalist
to do any social science.
Physicalism is just another theory.
So, how are we going to do this?
Don't we have to know what God is to begin?
So, we need a theory about God.
What is your definition of God?

Conscious supreme being who created the universe and is likely
omnipotent and omniscient.

Gee, you are such a traditionalist.
Still good enough.
Don't forget that we don't have to be a physicalist here.
What do you mean by 'being'?
Is God directly or indirectly observable by humans?

I would call myself a materialist.
What do you mean by 'being'?
Entity, unit, item. The term is general. The importance lies in the
modifiers (conscious, supreme) and the further description.
Is God directly or indirectly observable by humans?
No, because he does not exist.
