Hey Fred Bush: about that foreign aid ... |

"FEMA? That was a lost cause," said Mirit Hemy, an executive with the
Netherlands-based New Skies Satellite, who made the phone calls. "We got
zero help, and we lost one week trying to get hold of them."

I suppose that you think they should take everything that is offered
whether they have a use for it or not? "Hey, thanks a lot, just pile it up
over there..."

Never mind that they could have at least answered the phone &
acknowledged the offer with a gracious, "No thanks, not yet
anyways..."
As for the "***** monkey" remark, please. The last thing we should be
giving fundamentalists is even well-deserved justification for feeling
"persecuted". You know how much they love being martyrs.
I think about the best "aid" other countries could offer Katrina
survivors at this point is an offer of citizenship.

I'm sure some Dutch engineers will come in handy *after* they get the city
drained and decontaminated.
