Indeed, if this god character is as omniscient as it's claimed it is it
knows where to find me.

I've said for a while now that god, being "omniscient," "omnipotent," and
"omnipresent," knows exactly what it would take to convince each and every
human being of his existence. Otherwise, he's not "god."
And none of this "free will" excuse either. If he's a real *god, he knows
how to do it so that everybody would *freely choose to believe...

Again, go to the best texts of the best university philosophy
and divinity schools, look for evidence for god.
The best don't have anything. If it isn't there it isn't.
What can you say?
This is not illogica,l it is the way it is because there is
nothing for these books to report in way of evidence.
If I am wrong, all Kurtie has to do is order the best text books and
show us that evidence. If there is none in the best textbooks, he
needs to explain why.
Why do the theists who post here never go to the best text
books, find that proof and show us that proof?
I think spelling this out to Kurtie is useless.

a thinking person at all.

I don't have to look everywhere. If we're talking the god character the

Seems to me it's much more common in this group for
anti-theists to be making the illogical claim that "no such
evidence exists".

Yes, that's why I said **claims** of solid evidence and put
scare quotes around logical.

Do you really have to have this spelled out for you?

What you can "spell out" for me, Dennis, is how you can know
there "is no evidence" unless you've looked everywhere.

I don't have to look everywhere. If we're talking the god
character the Christians pray to, it's described as omnipresent.

Therefore, if I look in even one place, and the god isn't there,
then I'm done.

So what you're saying is that since God is claimed to be
omnipresent, if you look into, say, the corner of your living room
and you don't see God then that means God does not exist.

Is that what you're saying?

Unless you're planning to redefine "omnipresent" now too.

Would you like to define it, Fred?

You don't know what it means?

Seems to me it's much more common in this group for
anti-theists
to
be
making
the illogical claim that "no such evidence exists".

Yes, that's why I said **claims** of solid evidence and put
scare
quotes
around logical.

Do you really have to have this spelled out for you?

What you can "spell out" for me, Dennis, is how you can know
there
"is
no evidence" unless you've looked everywhere.

I don't have to look everywhere. If we're talking the god character
the
Christians pray to, it's described as omnipresent.

Therefore, if I look in even one place, and the god isn't there,
then
I'm
done.

So what you're saying is that since God is claimed to be
omnipresent,
if you look
into, say, the corner of your living room and you don't see God then
that means God does not exist.

Yes. By definition. The god described as omnipresent could not exist.

Is that what you're saying?

Yes.

Well, I guess that settles it then - if you don't see an omnipresent
God in your living room then he must not exist!

Yes. By definition.

Yep, if you don't see God in your living room then he must not exist.

And by coincidence, I took a look a look around *my livingroom and I
didn't see God either.

What's happening here??

What's happening is that you performed a clear and obvious demonstration
that a god defined as omnipresent does not exist.

And of course everything present in your living room is visible to the
5 senses, right?
The senses are never wrong, are they?
I think you've got it!
