It is the season of witches - cute little costumed ones and full-grown
adult ones laying claim to Halloween and recounting tales of medieval
and early modern persecution.

Interesting.
Is it safer to be an atheist nowadays, than be a.. say... wiccan, I
wonder? Given the current US climate, I'm inclined to say it's the
wiccans!
Who's most likely the first ones on the pyre, should the religious
inquisition get a second innings?
Any bunch likely to get the hotfoot before the atheists?
I vote the zo-roast-rians for the nominative determinism.
