Hmmmmm...Some Star Trek Thoughts |

It's been one of those "too much time on my hands" days and I was
contemplating Gene Roddenberry's brain child...perhaps over thinking it.
Let me know what you think.
Borg = Christians
Bajorans = Jews
The Dominion (in particular the Jem H'dar) = Muslims
Kardasians = Communists and Nazis
Vulcan's and Trills = Buddhists

I would rather equate the Dominion, and the Jem'Hadar in particular, to
religious fanatics (regardless of which religion). They believe that
they're serving their gods by attacking others, and can't survive without a
constant flow of their addictive substance of choice---ketracel white or
zealous faith, as the case may be. The Cardassians actually might be a
better fit for Muslims: mostly normal people, but ruled by an overbearing
and aggressive government.
