Hope for the Pope |
Let's all pray that medical technology will allow Pope JPII to live at
least to 90. Presently, he has only a tube stuck in his throat. He needs
more tubes stuck in him, tubes stuck in his veins, a tube in his *****, and
another one up his *****. With the proper application of tube technology,
the Lord may be able to keep him around much longer. He should be
put on a feeding tube to make sure he gets enough nourishment to live,
and we could have a pope-cam set up in his hospital room for everyone
to watch. What a splendid spectacle this would be, how exciting to
watch the holy father bravely hanging on, conducting his popely affairs
from the hospital. If the holy father manages to live long enough, maybe
medical technology will be advanced enough in a few years for the pope's
brain to be kept alive after his body is gone, and the pope could still communicate
to us via his brain, which would be wired up to a computer. Then he could
still be pope, and could relax a little in his job, no more having to fuss around
with those fancy pink slippers, those heavy, awkward white gilded dresses,
and that silly hat. He could then *really* get down to the business of running
the Church! Let's hear it for the old pope! May he live forever!

What are you going to do if he dies? Blame your lack of praying?

What the hell do you mean by 'silly hat'!? The hats make the
religion!
I suppose you could put a hat on a monitor and have the Mary
Worshippers grovel before it, BUT IT WOULDN'T BE THE SAME!
It's not like they're not dumb enough to do it....
Never mind.....

But totally incapacitated, throwing the Cardinals into a frenzy,
because they can vote for a new pope if the old one dies, but they
can't do a thing if the new one's just incapacitated.
So no more "no condoms, no queers, no abortions" ***** - just an
old man in a hospital bed, unable to do anything but fill his
colostomy bag, while the Catholic world prays for him to die.

Yeah, isn't it funny how religious people jump to 'science' to save
their life or the lives of those they are affected by, but totally shun
it otherwise? The hypocrisy never ends!!

Actually, it's not funny, it's very sad.
They run to the science they debase, when it suits them. Then, after
the science has saved their lives, they give the credit to the gods, and
forget the people that actually did the work, the gods were to busy to
to do.

How is it that we debase science? Last time I checked, the Catholic Church
has existed in peace with the scientific world, or that aspect of it which
was practicing sound and moral medicine. The Church promotes the teaching
of evolution in schools, though discredits the incorporation of
anti-religious undertones in said teachings. Science and faith walk hand in
hand.

Why don't you read your "church" report about the effectiveness of
condoms? Or more appropriately, the lie that they spread, totally
ignoring the scientific data.
Then tell me again how they exist in peace with the scientific world.

Ask any Roman Catholic scientist. I know my faith doesn't jepordize my
scientific mind, and I know my scientific mind doesn't jeprodize my faith.
Science and faith go hand in hand. Don't believe me? Ask the thousands upon
thousands of religious scientists.

Roman Catholic scientist?
Now there's an oxymoron if ever there was one.

And their mouths, forming the letter "O", so your priest can take
advantage of you.
Honestly, other then dark ages mentality, and massive suffering, as well
as over the top condemnation of others, you idiots have done nothing
strong, and found no answers.
In fact, the history of your idol worshiping, blood drawing cult, is one
of condemning answers, and science.
You are a tyrant!

The Catholic Church adopts as much as they see fit after new
discoveries are made. They do this for recruiting purposes. Everything
sells better when it has "NEW!" printed on it. They want to appeal to a
wider demographic than other religions. They are trying to entice those
that would not accept an idea like the Sun revolving around the Earth.
The fundie religions get most of those people.
