and too dishonest to admit your errors.
Considering the fact that I posted many hundreds
of thousands of links to the similar news stories,
a first-time reporting error is a good indicator in
favor of "honesty" for those articles, Melmbecile....
That is, if your story has any merit, and not being
fabricated in the capacity of coersion against the
victims. Which is certainly a strong possibility for
a murder investigation which is half a century-old...

A DELIVERY man who claimed he broke out of Pentridge Prison with
Ronald Ryan, arguing Ryan was wrongly hanged for the murder of a
prison guard as they fled, has been exposed as a fraud.
Radio journalist Nick McCallum yesterday apologised to 3AW listeners,
admitting that he had been duped in an interview in which the man
claimed he was Peter John Walker, who escaped from Pentridge with
Ryan
in 1965.
The station broadcast the interview, in which the impostor made
claims
that Ryan was innocent, on Thursday.
Ryan became the last man executed in Australia when he was hanged for
prison guard George Hodson's murder in 1967.
In the interview the man denied he or Ryan killed Hodson, saying that
the gun jammed. But the real Peter John Walker, who was released from
jail in 1983, came forward yesterday after hearing the interview.
McCallum, who is standing in for regular morning show presenter Neil
Mitchell, apologised to listeners. The revelation triggered a barrage
of talkback callers, some arguing McCallum was naive and others
saying
he had courage to publicly admit he had made a mistake.
McCallum told The Age he had no idea who the impostor was, but was
investigating.
"I can't even begin to imagine what his motive is," he said. "All I
can tell you is that he never asked for money, but as to what the
hell
he was thinking I have no idea."
McCallum said he was doing a show about the difficulty of prisoners
getting work after serving time when they first spoke to the so-
called
Mr Walker. "The stories he gave us matched what we knew of the Walker
story," McCallum said.
"He looked the appropriate age, he was tall like Walker was ... I
looked
at photographs when Walker was a young man and he looked like Walker.
"We had no clue until we were contacted by the man who claimed to be
the real Peter John Walker."
3AW producers called Mike Richards, author of The Hanged Man: The
Life
and Death of Ronald Ryan, to listen to the interview and help
determine if it was really Mr Walker. Dr Richards, who had
interviewed
Mr Walker before, believed the caller to be a fraud.
He gave producers the details of Mr Walker, which matched the details
the caller gave.
Meanwhile, Ryan's daughters yesterday made a plea for privacy as
remains believed to be that of their father were exhumed at the
former
Pentridge Prison site.
The exhumed remains have been sent to the Victorian State Coroner's
office to be tested and identified.
If they are confirmed to be Ryan's, they will be handed over to his
three daughters.
