How is Fred Durst worse than any other rapper? |
It's become "cool" to bash Fred Durst now. Why does Fred Durst get so
much crap from everybody and other rappers don't? Like there's a
difference, you know rap is crap and all rappers suck, it's not just
Durst.
Is it because he's white, and liberals are afraid to criticize a black
man?

executive order to have all rappers euthanized to create an eugenic
effect.
Then the smartest members of all races should interbreed to create a
new Master Race that will inherit the Universe. We can have super
smart Blacks, Latinos, Asians, Jews, etc. (no Whites, they are too
homosexual) all breed together to create the ultimate Master Race of
all time.

Even though I don't like Limp Bizkit or any other so-called "rap
metal" bands, I have to admit that the song "Break Stuff" from their
album "Significant Other" is the only song I like from them.

they call rap, its just the urban version of pop. I can see why you

All rappers on the radio sucks. If you rely on the mass media for
what they call rap, its just the urban version of pop. I can see
why you say all rappers suck, because the ones you've probably
seen/heard do. But there is real HIP HOP out there somewhere in
the underground, not all of it sucks.

I didn't say ALL rappers suck. My opinion is that almost all rappers
that are on radio suck (in terms of subject matter), especially
compared to rappers that choose to rap about other things, and choose
not to have somebody getting shot in the background. I like pretty
much all rap no matter how serious the lyrics are.
4. The majority of music purchasers are white so what does that tell you
about rap crossing race/culture lines. What percentage of minorities listen
to rock or country? I guarantee it is no where near the percentage of
whites who listen to rap
Most of the rap on the bill board charts can be classified as pop or
"hip pop." Most of the producers and artists the create it are trying
to make something to top the charts. The music sounds good, and gets
people dancing, but a lot of this kind of rap doesn't have much to say
besides gucci suits, escalades and how they're gonna kill somebody.
BTW, lots and lots of white teens know of underground stuff too.
Also, I don't want to argue with you because I think we basically
agree, but what I was saying was just misunderstood.

I like GangStarr (not really A rapper, but a rapper and a producer),
AZ, Xzibit, A Tribe Called Quest, Mos Def. Those are the ones I like
right now, and there are a whole bunch I want to check out. Those guys
aren't really underground, but are not very very popular. For the
popular I like OutKast, Jay-Z, and Clipse, they are semi-popular.
Hell, I'll listen to 50 cent for a while, but he relies on Dr. Dre's
beats and the hype from beefs because he is not a really good emcee.
He's just so damn AVERAGE, he barely gets the job done without
shotguns being reloaded in the background. And Chingy, don't get me
started on him. I'll just comment on the singles, because I can't say
I've listend to the whole album and given him a shot. But how the hell
do you go through a whole song rhyming everything with urrrr? How the
***** does marriage (he prounounced it 'merge') rhyme with mayor (muur)
and fair (fuuur)?

Someone was talking about a proposed MC battle between 50 Cent and The
Rza and the caller they had on the line was all "Man, Rza would KILL 50
Cent!" and a few other comments like that - then it morphed into a rant
against hip hop artists who always sing about money and blingin' and all
that, and he was saying "You guys aren't real rappers, you're not
street, all you talk about is money! You're REPUBLICAN rappers, that's
what you are!"
