Object: How The Rulings Of The Apostles Council At Jerusalem Affect Us To This Day
Prolegomenon
Paul Versus the Pharisees.
So the pharisees who believe, that is
to say the Pharisees who believe that
the Messiah had come in the person of
Jesus had a very opposite view. For the
pharisees Messiah had given a meaning to Moses Law
by fulfilling his prediction and by living, during his earthly life
according to the costums and precepts taught by Moses.
Therefore Moses costums -Law, circumcision- must be taught
wherever Messiah/Christ was preached.
For Paul, Messiah was meant to end Moses
therefore no more burden should be added to the
Gentiles from the Law. The Acts of the Apostles reports
that following that disagreement a Council
was held to settle the ISSUES. The rulings
of that Council can be found in Acts 15.
They include some dietary Laws, or some
Laws that others would call Noachites Law
that Moses validated. This ruling was a blow to Paul
who later wrote to the Corinthians that they were
free to eat any meat that they found in the Market place
contrary to the dietary Law found in the ruling.
In other words, for Paul, Moses Law was dead.
Two Covenants Living side by side
So to my readers who have a chance to travel abroad,
specially in the distant land of Africa where Catholics
and Muslims live side by side each community following
its own rituals of its preferred Covenant,
let me tell you this:
Every time you see a Muslims walking away from
a meat of animal that was estrengled while a Catholic
feels free to eat such meat, you are reading the ruling
of the Council of the Apostles versus Paul.
Every time you see a Muslim taking off his shoes
to enter his sanctuary while a Catholic enter the
Sanctuary his shoes on, you are reading
the Acts of the Apostles reporting the debate
between Paul versus the pharisees.
Remember when God told Moses: Take off your shoes
because the place you are standing is Holy.
Every time you see a Muslim walking away from a porc
while a Catholic feels free to eat such meat, you are
reading the ruling of the Council versus Paul.
Every time you see a Muslim taking a ritual bath
before prayers, while a Catholic might think such practice is
unnecessary, you are reading the Epistle to the Hebrews
versus the ruling of the Council of the Apostles.
Folks, our FAITH, CHRISTIANITY,
is mighty instructive and comes in
two versions, two Covenants though the SOLA SCRIPTURA
crowd may not like it.
LET THEM KILL THEMSELVES THOSE ATHEISTS
If they really think that human being evolved from a CHIMP
Down with them all, and the Demon-craps too.
