Actually, the above is a third-generation point mutation of a quote
of a quote from the Random House Encyclopaedia. JDay's been shown
a scan of the original RHE article -- a scan which proves that the
"witchcraft" silliness nowhere appears in the original, but
is the result of careless formatting by the second-generation
site, both quotes being from fundamentalist websites, although
the misleading misquote appears to have been an innocent
mistake.

It's no innocent mistake on JD's part, however. He knows better.

But he's told us that lying isn't really that big a deal. And
to him, apparently, it is not.

So you think that God made Darwin lose faith in God?

He made no claim about responsibility for Darwin losing faith in God.

That doesn't make sense.

You don't make sense.

It does make sense that demonic forces using a witch or something,
made Darwin lose his faith.

That doesn't make sense either.

And he did have "the faith" as demonstrated in his own words...

"During these two years I was led to think much about religion. Whilst
on board the Beagle I was quite orthodox, and I remember being
heartily laughed at by several of the officers (though themselves
orthodox) for quoting the Bible as an unanswerable authority on some
point of morality." - Charles Darwin (The Autobiography of Charles
Darwin)

Remember that orthodoxy to Darwin was the Anglican church. Calvinist
Dissenters were not considered orthodox.

... just as you once had the faith to some degree or another. And just
as Bilbo had the faith to one degree or another (and Bob too for that
matter).

Bob still has a lot of faith.

You see, (and all atheists everywhere should take note of this
critical point) the folks which have the most trouble with my writings
are X-christians.

Now why do you suppose that is?

Because they understand the Bible better than you do.

I'll tell you. It's because you've joined sides with Satan himself who
is now quite upset with me

That's because we've seen through your lies on his behalf.

and my TRUTH of the GOSPEL

You don't know what "truth" is.

and who is using you like a slave puppet,

Check your mirror again. That's you that has the strings being
pulled.

and consequently, you have no real free will ability to just let things be.

You predestinationists are the ones that claim to have no real free
will ability.

Even to the extent displayed in your
attitude to make void my rights of free speech under your
quasi-laws...

Who has attempted to void your rights of free speech? You opponents
are just exercising THEIR rights of free speech to laugh at you.

which I'm not subject to anyhow.

If you live in the United States, you are subject to United States
law.
Don't think so? Try exercising your rights of free speech and making
a joke about having a bomb or a box cutter at any airport security
check-in.

Matter, however, is not at issue. Life is. And while life is certainly a
product of matter and energy, it is one that is not yet fully understood,
and it is not relevant here. Gray Shockley referred to the loss of a life
- not the loss of the physical bulk of the whale.

You are too keen to score points, JD, and as a result you fail to score
them. You might wish to consider calming down and reading more carefully
before you leap.

One whale's death diminishes the universe.

Nope. Matter is neither created nor destroyed.

That has nothing to do with what he wrote.

I would go as far as saying the entire infinity of interdimensional

The earth is dying, and if she dies, so do we!
And, no blame on God, we are doing it ourself!

That seems to be the problem, "money" doesn't it? Mankind destroys his

Based on the superstition, such is according to the 'divine plan(tm).'

Steve was mocking the jd troll. Amazing, isn't it, how the superstition
industry is always looking for more money.
