Huckabee wins Alabama Republican Primary |
....I was expecting this. Luckily, he still has no shot to become
president, but his showing tonight may bolster his attempt at a vice
presidential nod. As for me, I voted as an uncommitted Republican. All
the candidates monstrously suck.
In fact, I am going to call it. The Republican ticket for 2008
will be John McCain and Mike Huckabee. And that is quite a scary
thought for damn near everyone in this group.

It sure is. Especially if McCain somehow feels he has to further prove he's
really a true 'conservative' to the religious right and goes well out of his
way to do so.
But if the Democrats can't prove to the American public that Obama -- should
he be the Democrat nominee -- isn't the better candidate to bring *all*
Americans under the American umbrella and help put a screeching halt to all
the bitter divisiveness and partisanship afflicting this country . . . well
maybe some of us should just move to Mars and be done with the place. It
wouldn't be a place fit for us to live in.

I would definitely say that a senator who was involved in the biggest
financial collapse in US history since October 1929 (the economic
terrorist group known as the Keating Five) combined with a Christian
version of Osama bin Laden would indeed be a scary thought not just
for damn near everyone in this group but for damn near everyone in the
country.

McCain is the only Republican candidate I could even remotely stomach
as President. I'm a registered Democrat, and voted for Clinton in the
NY Primary, but Obama would be fine with me as the nominee should he
prevail.

Including the dems. I voted against Obama Bin Laden. Which means guess
who? Maybe there will be a tenor sax in the white house again.
