I am leaving now and will be gone till June / A personal note to my groupies ...Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd, Neil |
I thank everyone for their replies and feedback over the last few
weeks to my posts.
This will be my final post for a while - so cannot reply after it.
I will be gone till June.
I am going on retreat in the woods and water and there is no net
access where I am going.
I'd like to address the rest of my post to my groupies...Raven,
Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd, Neil...as well as the
rest of the mind manacled, defiant based, spiritually sick atheists
and theists that are slaves to their computers, hatred, ill will and
ignorance.
I hope yo are able to break away from your slavish dependence on your
computer as well as your predisposition to destroy others for just an
hour or two today.
Make it a goal of yours today to shut your computer down and take a
walk or hike today and enjoy nature in all it glory.
A constantly busy mind cannot heal itself Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo,
Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd, Neil
Even if it is raining I go on walks...I just put on gore-tex.
I used my addictions as distraction from living life and dealing with
problems and as artificial ways to relieve pain. I've abused these
pain relievers so that now they are pain generators in my life.
Isn't it much easier to fantasize about something else than stay in
the hear and now Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd,
Neil?
I try and catch myself when I practice this escapism and work to bring
my thoughts back to the present.
Whenever the fantasy or concentration of others starts, I check to see
what I am escaping from?
Why do I fixate on something else instead of where I'm at Raven,
Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd, Neil?
Practicing mindfulness of the present moment as part of a Buddhist
practice has helped me change this.
Also a realization that idle speech does not promote my peace and can
also destroy others peace Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray,
Kate, Floyd, Neil.

Sitting in front of any electric tube or screen excessively is not a
good way to live our life Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray,
Kate, Floyd, Neil.
Yes, we can spend some of our life doing it, but if we wish to live a
good life we need to get out a little.
Many computer addicts are just 'shells of a humans' with glazed eyes,
open gapping mouths and hunched backs ... sitting in front of an
electric box day and night looking for the answer to a happy life ...
when all of the while the answer is within them.
Developing a list of positive time fillers was a big help with my
addictions Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray, Kate, Floyd,
Neil.
As Thoreau wrote in Walden , "The devil finds work for idle hands."
Before heading in this new direction, most of my time was occupied by
what to buy next, overeating rich foods and getting fat and when I
wanted a break from that I had a picnic basket of other addictive
areas to get drugged up with.
Most of my new activities are sport or movement related as they also
serve the purposes of helping with my overeating disease and have the
added benefit of improved health and don't produce clutter like some
hobbies do.
In addition they help with depression, balance and equilibrium and
brain functioning.
Now, keeping busy is not the cure all for addicts, but it is a
necessary foundational pillar Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray,
Kate, Floyd, Neil.

I will be back in June (I hope), so talk with you all then.
And if anything I have said in my posts has offended anyone, then
please forgive me.
May the 'God of Nature' and the 'God of Peace' bestow their blessings
on you all.

Jesus H. Christ, 124 lines just to say goodbye...what's wrong with
you? Haven't you ever heard that "less is more?" If you ever actually
had a coherent thought, no one would know because they would be asleep
before they got to it. What do you do for a living?...Let me

Go away for good. You have nothing to contribute to either theists or
atheists. You suck at life.

good way to live our life Raven, Robibnikoff, Bilbo, Michael Gray,
Kate, Floyd, Neil.

May the 'God of Nature' and the 'God of Peace' bestow their blessings
on you all.

And the consensus is:
You're a self-possessed frothing nutcase with nothing of substance to add.
This will be my final post for a while - so cannot reply after it.
I will be gone till June.
