Ah, so you are reading. So, have you been diagnosed as a sociopath?

You can like people without wanting to have
sex with them. I get a lot from certain writers here and am just listing
some of my favorite ones. I do the same when I talk to you about the
various religions and where I get the 'peace tools' from. I jut give
credit to the source.

No, you're just a self-absorbed troll. Nothing more.

Thanks for asking the question as well as answering it for me Mark -
you save me a lot of time. There are tons of replies here and I will
never get to them all. Bollocks / ravern, Al K, Neil, Ghod, Jim and
many more. They are all in text folders and hopefully will get to them
someday. You know about computer addiction Mark, as you are enslaved to
it no doubt, so I must live my life by the timer and limit my
participation as I do not want to turn into a Mark K. Bilbo.
I am sorry to rent so much space in your head Mark. Are you crippled or
an old guy with nothing other to do but attack people? If so, go ahead
if you like. I am glad I can be of service to you with such a simple
pastime for you to occupy your mind with. If you find peace by your
misguided efforts at tearing others down...well that is the essence of
Mark K. Bilbo I guess.
In the 12 step programs, accepting step one (I am powerless over my
addiction and my life is unmanageable) is the foundation to finding
recovery. Whether our recovery quest is based on our addiction to
alcohol, food or unbalanced ego based thinking the basic steps are all
the same although each program does have various tools of recovery that
may differ.
This is how it is with many addicts. A refusal to live within their
comfortable means and a refusal to accept and practice Step 1. We are
still playing god with our addiction. The turning point with step 1 is
when we would rather "accumulate recovery and inner peace" instead of
accumulate more addiction and sickness ... then we have turned the
corner
Part of the problem is that the right choices might be distasteful to
our ego, so we go with what the ego likes. With the ego based person
that builds themselves up as god and everybody else is always wrong and
the only way they find a sort of satisfaction is through tearing others
down. This first step is a very tough thing to do for an ego based
spiritually sick individual. But no matter how tough they must release
the god of self as a false god. But someday it hopefully sinks in we
cannot solve our problems with the same thinking that we used when we
created them.
We should always he interested in finding truth and peace if we are
truly not our own gods. If our way is not working then some other way
may help. It is good to test and see the results. The bible reminds us
of this "Test everything; hold fast to what is good; abstain from every
form of evil," (1 Thess. 5:21) Irrespective of your beliefs or lack
there of, this concept of testing can be of help to you. For with such
tests, 'the proof of the pudding will be in the eating' and decisions
on how to live will not be left only to your ego, but will be grounded
in peace.
This concept of testing what other people say instead of blanket
dismissal of anything that does not come from your ego chips away at
this sickness. One thing about being powerless? We are only powerless
when we have no recovery program and our addiction works us on its
terms. Once we have recovery program, we have the power to work the
addiction on the programs terms and the addiction can stop working us
on its terms.
If you would like to discuss matter in private, I'd be happy to talk
about it with you. And if not, then I hope you find someone you are
comfortable with to pursue this topic with. Many times ego based
individuals live a life that is all about impressing people by elitism
and the tearing down of others in a vain attempt to build up their own
fragile egos. And as a result such people have little or no real self
worth built up within them to fall back on when others criticize them
as is so common online. Once you release the need to show off for
people, you can get down to the real business of developing true self
worth through a life based on inner peace and not the false hope of
finding this peace by destroying others.
Good Luck,

For a "peace" freak, you sure are a spiteful little *****.

I am sorry to rent so much space in your head Mark. Are you crippled or
an old guy with nothing other to do but attack people?

No, you're an *****. A self-absorbed ***** who thinks everything is
about him. You've done nothing but hurl insults at the people in this
group this the day you showed up. You don't listen, don't care about the
feelings of others, and preach some stupid theology you concocted in your
own fevered little brain.
See how you're explaining my posts? I must be some kind of addict or
handicapped with nothing better to do. It just *can't be that V (aka
"god") is a pissy little twerp who goes out of his way to irritate people.

If so, go ahead

You're so busy playing with yourself, you couldn't understand the essence
