Idea for free-view movie share mail service |
It seems to work for just about everything else, I was thinking offering
movies that are free to view and exchange through the mail in exchange for
the viewer watching a certain amount of advertising from various sponsors
might just be a relatively cheap, easy way to make some money. I'm sure it
would be popular.
My thought is that they could only get a movie after watching the
advertisements online and obtaining a registration code after the
advertisements are over, then the registration code would be good for one
free movie rental.
In fact, the "watch ads on the Internet and get free stuff" might work for
-many- types of goods & services.
Waddaya' think? Too easy?

Furthermore, the ads could be set up to pause so that the user has to enter
the text from one of those munged randon-text string pictures designed to
foil automated activities. A normal hack might be able to get around it,
but most people wouldn't bother.
