I think I once made Budikka angry by finding out that half of his
reasons why the bible is wrong were dependent on God being either
omnipotent, omniscient omnibenevolent ore a combination of those. I
may make him angry again, but I will take the chance.
Suppose our genes didn't evolve but were intelligently designed, like
computer programs.
As a software engineer I have written and updated many a COBOL
program, and detetected much junk code in the process.
As it happens however not all junk coding can be deleted with
impunity.
So suppose there was ID, but the designer although intelligent wasn't
omniscient,
and just as a precausion, refrained from deleting the junk-code in his
programs?
OK it is rather implausable, but it is not unreasonable:)
not as unreasonable as presuming omnisciency anyway.
