If God said 1+1=3, would it be true? |
?
For years I have ponered these questions. Never got a decent
answer. There are the obvious questions, then there are the not so
obvious questions. If any body could answer them, I surely would
appreciate it.
1. Why do Men have nipples ?
2. Why do Turkeys & Chickens have wings, when they can't fly ?
3. Why does the color "Yellow" represents cowardice ?
4. How come Women do not have beards ?
5. How come America is the only country in the world that plays that
sport we call "Football".?
6. Why is it acceptable to show people puking on the movie screne and
it is considered obscene to show some one bending over to defecate ?
7. Why is it more acceptable to show violence on T.V, than show sex ?
8. Why are Females are allowed to dance, kiss and hug with each other ?
If Men should do it, they are prime suspects of being Gay .
9. Why do some Men have anal sex with Women, when they have a Vagina.
10. How come there are only 2 major political parties in the U.S.A ?
11. Why do some Men like to watch women have Lesbian sex ?
12. Instead of having birthdays, shouldn't we have CONCEPTION DAY ?
11 Heavy Questions about GOD.
1. When a baby dies at birth, does that mean God is Pro-choice.
2. If God is Omnipotent, why did he have to rest on the 7th day of
Creation ? God gets tired ? I thought He was perfect.
3. Does God have a Penis ?
4. If God said 1+1= 3, would that be true ?
5. If God exists...WHY ?
6. If God can see the future, why would he get mad if you sinned ?
May be that's why he forgives ?
7. What's the use of free will, when you only have one choice ? The
right choice. Shouldn't that be called a Ultimatum ?
8. Are there property rights in Heaven ?
9. Why can't God just kill the Devil and get it over with ?
10. Why do people look up into Heaven, when praying to Him. I thought
He was everywhere ?
11. Why doesn't God just make a personnel appearance. Do some
miraculous trick, and everybody would beleive in him ? With exception
of some Skeptics. That Philosophy is dumb anyway. Why does He have test
our faith al the time. This allmighty dude gives mortals more tests
than Civil Service.

I believe the reason domestic turkeys can't fly is that they are bred
and fed to be too fat to get off the ground.

Walked up on a herd of turkeys in the woods and too my amazement they
flew away and quite well.

Just as 2 + 2 = 3 for sufficiently small units of 2.

AFAIK, both are roosting birds, chickens certainly are.
They have not totally lost the ability to fly, and still use it to escape
predators.

It doesn't always. In some cultures, white is the colour of cowardice.
I can only assume the reason that yellow id the designated colour of cowardice,
in the english speaking world, is because you can get a lot more emphasise
behind yella/yeller/etc, than you can, behind white.
The same probably holds true for racists, calling blacks, "*****".
Such terms, are usually the resort of those with limited vocabularies.

I refuse to answer that,on the grounds that an honest answer might make me
appear bigoted, WRT, sport, and sport fanatics, in general, and American

People vomiting, is a device used by film makers, to emphasise a particularly
gruesome crime, and the disgust of some poor copper, without actually showing
the even more disgusting, chopped up bodies.
It is also used to indicate a novice to th murder squad, or the path. lab, or in
the case of the deliberately horrifying films, to indicate weakness.
Taking a dump, does not have the same connotations.

That depends on which country you live in; But you would need to ask a xtian,
for a full answer.
BTW, if you get an answer that makes sense, let us know; I am pretty sure that
most of us would be interested to hear it.

It is as good an explanation as any.
Until I came to England, I had never heard the reference to yellow, WRT
cowardice.
The local term, translated to English, aproximatly, as "white inside", or maybe
"bloodless" might be a better meaning, and, I believe, referred to the way that
fear can make your face go pale. As you must be well aware, a great many people
see fear, as cowardice.
I have heard the term, "lilly livered", (goes with your jaundice, I think) so
even in the English speaking world, yellow, is not always the colour chosen.
Then there is the traditional "white feather", given to one accused of
cowardice.
As to yellow, I can only guess, but I was thinking about the way the words are
used, and both yellow, and *****, are words which allow you to use facial
expressions of contempt , i.e, to sneer, as the word is pronounced.
Just an opinion.

We can tell when Europeans are posting here by the way they use certain
words and phrases.
