I am an atheist, yes.

-do u approve of atheism?

Insofar as I disapprove of theism and other forms of irrationality in
general, I suppose you could say that.
If you're looking for better answers, you ought to ask better
questions. I had very little to work with. If you've read some books,
then you should know enough to pose some questions that will get
substantive answers. I don't know how much you can really ask about
atheism, per se, since it's just a lack of theism. If you'd like to
know more about atheist worldviews, secular humanism seems to be a
fairly common one.
In any case, here are some decent articles (or were when last I read
them) on potentially relevant topics:

Asking an atheist newsgroup if there are any atheists present is like
going to an AA meeting and asking, "Hey, does anyone here have a
drinking problem?" Your second question is even more brilliant: you ask
this group of atheists if they "approve of" atheism.
No worries. You'll have plenty of time during summer school (repeating
your English class) to learn how to ask intelligent, meaningful questions.

I am an atheist in the sense that i am godless (a - theos).
I neither approve nor disapprove of atheism - I am simply a godless

"Might be" permits "need not be".
It is perfectly logical to say that one believes that there might be but
need not be an X. So that no theist can possibly say that there might be
(but need not be) any gods.
Despite Septic's many false claims to the contrary, there is no theist
belief that accepts or allows that there need not be a god.

The day I discovered the world made much more sense *without* a god in
it was the best day of my life. It felt like being let out of school
for summer vacation. All the neurotic gymnastics I performed to keep my
god-belief intact..man, what a waste of energy. I felt like I had been
released from an enormous vise-the pressure was gone and I could
finally BREATHE.

I have, however...forgotten the exact date..<g>

Yes, I'm an atheist. What do you mean when you ask whether I "approve
of" atheism?
Oh, and don't write your English final like it's a text message.

[1] For [2] English [3] I

[5] atheism [6] I [7] 've ( should be "have")

[9] remove hyphen, add "which were"
[10] "good"? In what way? Interesting? Enlightening? Humorous?

read them, and can supply additional information.)

English is a really cool language. Let us know when you learn to speak
(read/write/spell) it.
Neatness counts.

Either you've not paid attention in class or the teacher is incompetant.
As for reading books, it's very evident you haven't.

I was emailing one of my high school-age nieces for a while.
She wrote like that, a lot of text-message short cuts, many
misspellings and so on. I really couldn't tell what she was
trying to say half the time, and would say "I think you meant
this, right?" She finally said she didn't want to email me
anymore, because it was too much like doing homework. Pathetic.
