Imagine if this were a Republican President...
Documents obtained using the Freedom of Information act show that
President Bill Clinton ignored the genocide that was going on in
Rwanda, and knew about it before and as it was happening. According to
declassified documents, the Clinton administration buried the
information to justify its inaction. Officials were already privately
using the word genocide within days of the start of the killings, but
said nothing publicly because Clinton chose not to intervene. It took
the death squads three months to murder 800,000 people.
Now, the US had no interests in Rwanda, so the policy of not
intervening may have been right, but where is the Congressional Black
Caucus on this one? What if this were President Bush instead? We would
never hear the end of it. Can you imagine? It would be the top story
in the news media for days on end, with the president being accused of
genocide and racism for his inaction. Liberals would be calling for
not only impeachment, but probably war crimes trials. Just envision
the speeches on floor of the House and Senate. The left would be
picketing the White House with pitchforks.
Remember this the next time someone tells you there's no bias in the
media.

are mean, vicious, hateful, greedy, cold-hearted, closed-minded,
selfish, intolerant, bigoted and racist.

That's because to the prudes of the US, there is nothing worse than sex for
pleasure and blowjobs qualify as that.
Which is worse:
lying about a ***** (clinton)
lying about using the CIA to thwart the election process (nixon)
lying about selling arms to a hostile nation to fund an illegal war
(iran-contra)
lying about reasons to go to war (iraq)
?

Obviously the first one is the worst.

Clinton was acquitted of the charges in his impeachment.

lying about using the CIA to thwart the election process (nixon)

Nixon resigned under threat of impeachment.

lying about selling arms to a hostile nation to fund an illegal war
(iran-contra)

Hearings were held and several participants in the scheme were
convicted.

lying about reasons to go to war (iraq)

It's only been all over "the media" for months now. The biggest problem
the opposition has is that there obviously was justification for going
to war with Iraq, whether the reasons given before the attack were
incorrect or not.

Obviously the first one is the worst.

That wasn't a decision made by a crony. Do you honestly believe the president

about that affair?

That means very little. I'm sure that there are as many sites out
there pointing out the terrible conservative things that didn't make
the media. The fact that Bush seems to be attacked by the media (god I
hate that word) might have more to do with the fact that attacking a
current president sells more papers that attacking the opposition.

It might sell papers but it is not the print media which are Bush's biggest
supporters. It is the television media and television is firmly in the hands of
the GOP. Television also has much more of an audience than the print media.

Unless you count the WWW as "media".

The fact that Bush seems to be attacked by the media (god I

current president sells more papers that attacking the opposition.

I think people are more aware of the ability of news outlets to slant
material, and there are more outlets which will report from different
viewpoints, so that they have to be more objective about it.
"The media" were all set to give Clinton a pass on Monica until a right-
winger's gossip page broke the story. Then they had to jump on it. I
would have never heard of Drudge except for the buzz that he got *after*
he broke that story.

We don't have to. Bush ignored what was going on over there. It's not like
Clinton stayed out and Bush rode in to help. We still hear pretty much
*nothing about what's been going on over there. Despite the Congolian
civil war spreading to Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Angola
and Sudan. They were calling it "Africa's first world war." Some three
million died.
Bush is *still not helping. It's *still a disaster over there. Despite
peace agreements, the wars are still being carried on at various levels.
You know that rebel forces in Congo are raping women by the hundreds as a
means of terrorizing the population? Has Bush said a word?
So we don't have to wonder, we know. Glass houses you see...

The fact that you rant about Clinton, but do not include teh equally bad or

You care about it only for extremist far right Clinton bashing.
You don't care a pointy rat turd about the equally bad things done

You are every bit as bad as Clinton because you are a mere far right

Nixon ignored the murder and torture of the Greek generals who
overthrew that democracy, the invasion of Indonesian in West Timor,
he instituted the secret bombing of Cambodia that killed hundreds of

And not a single far right ***** monkey, such as yourself, has ever cared
